SEScoops.com has learned that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will NOT be medically cleared to compete at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view, which takes place on Sunday, June 29th from the TD Garden in Boston, MA. As of last week, there was still hope that Bryan would be cleared by then -however, we just heard exclusively from a source backstage at RAW from the Target Center in Minneapolis that Bryan got the news from his doctors that he definitely will NOT be able to wrestle this month. As such, Bryan will be forced to surrender the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and a new champion will be crowned at the pay-per-view. This comes from the same source that told us about Bryan’s concussion back in January (in the cage match vs. Bray Wyatt) and Bryan needing neck surgery, and both of those exclusives panned out. www.sescoops.com/exclusive-daniel-bryan-will-medically-cleared-money-bank/

1. A bit of a misleading title there
2. This was well established on this board about Bryan not being cleared, then it'll be for the title. As evident when it was announced, last week, on Raw.

It's not as if his run has been that good though tbh.

I would expect Kane to win the vacant title and set up a match with Bryan, if Bryan's likely to be back by Battleground.

I still dont understand where your getting John Cena from. Because Vince loves Cena. If anyone gets injured, He and Orton are his backup men.

I like Daniel Bryan, but the WWE should have stripped him of the title as soon as he went in for surgery. His title reign will go down as one of the least memorable because he spent most of it not doing anything thanks to the wedding, deaths, and injuries. None of it is Bryan's fault but it has a chance of tarnishing his reputation. It makes me think of a mountain climber who gets to the peak of the mountain only to slip on a banana peel and fall all the way down to the bottom again - a great achievement ruined by bad luck.
I just hope the title doesn't end up on Cena, Orton, Sheamus, or Del Rio. That would be so boring. Use this as an opportunity to see if a younger wrestler can take the ball and run with it. Or throw a huge pile of money at Punk in the hopes that greed will bring him back for another run. Or throw a huge pile of money at Lesnar to convince him to come back in a more regular role for 3-6 months.

Put the belt on Brock, and Bryan beats him whenever he can come back.

Too Bad That Daniel Bryan got injured But if giving up the title means he can stay healthy and come back stronger next time he comes back then I'm happy about that it just sucks that he got injured he can never catch a break with the WWE title It's like he's cursed or something.
As Far as who should be the next Champion honestly I can see Cena or Orton winning It again.

damnit, this is really bad luck. Hope he will get better soon. Honestly, as an "egoistic" fan i'd like to see him back sooner than later but thinking about it i prefer him to get 100% without any risk instead of him coming back earlier and then have a shorter career full of injuries.

I would expect Kane to win the vacant title and set up a match with Bryan, if Bryan's likely to be back by Battleground. I find this somehow worse than Cena. Kane hasn't appeared legitimate to me in years. He works great as the monster the authority unleashes, title seems like a waste.

Idk but that just got me friggin stoked. As long as Cena dosent win the ladder match this should be GOOD! MITB ladder match is now for the WWEWHC

Well , the only person to blame is WWE for putting Daniel into this horrible storyline in the first place. I guess now we may get 2 MITB matches one for the title and the other for the briefcase.

All of this just sucks.
I also had the idea of there being no true Money in the Bank match at MONEY IN THE BANK.
