What is the best way to take apart a torso?? The reason I'm asking is I just got the Lashely vs. Jordan today and I want to keep OJ. But his Torso as we all know is a little too big for him. For since the AD14 Booker T and the AD18 OJ have the same tone I want to switch them. But I don't want stress marks to gapping holes in the sides. So what I the best way take torso apart?? Do I put them in hot water if so how long??

the design for the current Jakks Torsos have been pretty weak compared to what they used to use I would say get a Debonder (there is a brand called Zap A Gap) or I would say put the figure in the Freezer to harden the body ( it used to work) either way you should work it very carefully if you see the stress marks start then start on another angle (usually you start under the Arm that is the best

I always try to open just the lower part of the torso so it opens just a crack so you can switch the legs. This will improve playability, reduce stress marks, reduce damage to the figure and will mean the head will stay on perfectly. This is because you didn't need to open the top half of the torso where putting the head back on is not always easy because the neck's sometimes bent too far if you lean on it too much with the screwdriver. I did this with my RA18 and AD14 Eddie's legs and it looks like a factory product.
