1st thing to do is cancel the strikers line..they shelf warm like there's no tomorrow. .and cancel thode God-awful wind up figures. .I've collected wrestling figures for as long as I can remember and those two lines are by far some of the worst. .
The key to keeping this line interesting and selling is the make of figures that are put in the sets.
For example, if mattel announced at the SDCC this year that the legends line will return and start off with series 8, with the following line up:
Hulk Hogan
X-Pac
Razor Ramon
Shawn Michaels
Magnum T.A.
Mankind (original brown)
Do you know how huge that would be?!. Not to mention the amount of pre-orders they would sell..And instead of doing 4 sets yearly, do 2 sets..Which allow the consumer to purchase all the legends while still having the chance to collect the elites. .Mid-year have a "mid-year teaser", which would be 2 legend figures to hold over collects until the next set..Then at the end of the year (holiday season), have "new years teaser) featuring either 1 or 2 more legendary gearing collectors up for the new year to come..
And just ride the wave with this formula until you think it's time to add another set per year on..
