I thought the Pacific would be competitive this year but its impressive that the top 5 records in the West are from that division. I've been happy with Phoenix's start so far but I didn't think they would do it with defense. I don't think I ever remember them being a good defensive team(maybe the Barkley&KJ teams) but I think they gonna have to score a lot more points if they wanna compete with the LA teams. They don't have one player in the top 30 in PPG and Booker is the only one in the top 75 its no way they can win that way against the big guys in the West scoring like that imo. They are a lot tighter with Paul like lone said, and overall a much deeper team. They're younger, deeper, more dynamic, definitely a fun team to watch.

Yeah I think they been playing really good so far but if I'm remembering correctly they started out good last year and ran into a wall around 10-15 games into the season. Ayton's finally playing like a top 5 pick,Paul bought some D with him and running the offense and Bridges is playing solid but besides Booker who I got faith in will get things going there's not much left besides those 4 and I don't have much faith in the coach either.

Well I think they hit the wall quicker then I was expecting. How can any team lose to the Wizards by 20+?

Rockets to sit Harden until he's traded. Basketball players are so immature. I understand the Rockets haven't won in the time he's been there but you can't say they didn't try, or that it's not his job. He's still James Harden, wherever he goes will upgrade a team but annoying how basketball works like that. You could never do that in another job haha. Sixers or Nets the favourites, it'll be a tough trade to make with cap but the Sixers could really use him. The Nets are deeper and may have more assets. It'll be interesting to see how it unfolds.

I'm usually on the side of the player (down with the establishment!!) but not Harden. Maybe the Rockets would have the assets to improve the team if they didn't give them all away to get Westbrook for a year because you told them to because you told them to get rid of Chris Paul because he expected you to work as hard as he does and then you decided it didn't work with Westbrook either?

Even though I hate Philly sports I actually kind of like the Sixers in recent years. If Harden would end up there then that all goes out the window. It is a bit enjoyable to see Houston totally fall apart too. All the efforts of coming so close to knocking off GS only to fall short every time. You love to see it.

And he’s going to Brooklyn.
They need that second superstar to go along with Durant 😅

And he’s going to Brooklyn. They need that second superstar to go along with Durant 😅 At least one that answers their phone! What a crazy haul for the Rockets... "The Rockets will acquire Caris LeVert, Rodions Kurucs, three first-round picks, and four pick swaps from the Nets, along with Dante Exum and the Bucks’ 2022 first-round selection from the Cavs, per ESPN’s duo. Cleveland will receive Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince from Brooklyn. The Rockets will further expand the trade by flipping LeVert to the Pacers for Victor Oladipo, reports Shams Charania of The Athletic (Twitter link). Source

Let the record show I think Harden is a p.o.s. for this.
Brooklyn are stupid for doing this, even if they win a title. This will not end well.

Honestly, I'm pretty interested in watching the Rockets again. Hoping they stay healthy.

I think it'll work, it usually does to an extent. Durant/Harden (maybe Kyrie if he hasn't fallen off the flat earth) will draw so much attention that Joe Harris, Johnson, Luwawu-Cabarrot, etc. will get so many more open shots.

Their defensive rating will be so bad. Offensively, Harden and Kyrie will have to do a lot of work off the ball. I see KD getting frustrated pretty fast.

I hope the Nets go to the Finals.
Vs the Lakers
That would be the greatest storyline. Harden and KD together again va LBJ in the Finals. Then there’s Kyrie vs LeBron. Everything on the line. For the strap!
Lakers in 5.
