Accept the wolves do not have a leg to stand on considering they will lose Love for nothing next year. They have nothing in their favor when it comes to this. No team is stupid enough to take Love without a commitment to sign long term. They wont rent a player for a year like the lakers did with Howard. So they are going to accept any crappy package the Cavs provide them because Love wants to play there? Cavs are pretty desperate too.You have a shot a getting Love, you're not going to be ultra conservative. A lot of these teams were in poor situations with their star players demanding out and did fine. They didn't just get mauled over by the team they were trading with. Pretty much, because Love can put them in the position to where they have to. " I'll only play in Cleveland, so dont trade me anywhere else." That is all he has to say to ward off any unwanted trade partners.

LeBron to the Cavs makes too much sense for him not to consider. They are better than the Heat. But how messed up is it that LeBron leaves and Gilbert is gifted 3 no 1 picks and now he gets the worlds top player back? Gilbert truly is a moron and a hypocrite. True! but LeBron truly deserved it to be honest. But I think the allure of being hometown hero is a lot for Bron to turn down

Irving and Wiggins are fine, but they're not exactly mature. I don't believe that just those three can win a title next season. Even if they managed to get to the Finals, they would be crushed by whatever West team get's there. You're talking about a couple of kids. James is an amazing player, but there's going to be growing pains playing with those two guys. It took Miami a year to figure some things out and that was a team full of vets, not kids. I don't think Miami would win either if LBJ stayed. Wade is basically done. He's on his final legs. Bosh keeps proving that he can't bang in the paint and keeps taking shots from downtown. It really showed this year that Miami doesn't have a "Big Three", it's "Big One" with Bosh and Wade. Their team is so flawed but got through the playoffs because of LBJ and the lack of talent in the East. Kyrie, if he can stay healthy, is on the cusp of being a superstar in the NBA. Wiggins, I agree, is very raw right now and needs development but with the Cavs also pursuing Ray Allen AND Miller, cmon you can't say that LBJ would have a better chance of winning in Miami when he could have Kyrie, Wiggins, Varejao, Ray and Miller. Maybe the 1st year they won't win it but the years after, it could be the Cavs ruling the East. I disagree completely. First of all Wade isn't "done". Not the player he was, but let's not act like he's not still a good player. He had an awful Finals, but he was still pretty big in a lot of the playoff games leading up there. Secondly, Irving was being labeled the next Steve Francis last year after having a relatively disappointing season(career lows in a lot of categories). He's got a lot of growing up to do still. Future superstar perhaps, but right now I see him as a second tier star which is pretty much where Wade is. He can't just dribble the ball a bunch and chuck up bad shots while playing crappy D. Lots of room for improvement. Let's also realize that the Cavs haven't made any of these alleged moved either. They still have to sign those guys and very easily could still sign in Miami too. Andersen, Bosh, McRoberts is better than Bennett and Varejao. Also let's not discount chemistry and coaching too. Miami would be deeper with better coaching. Cavs would be a future team with still a lot of work to be done.

Nuggets got a haul from the Knicks and NO got Gordon, expiring deals and a first rounder for Paul. Again, you need to realize that the Cavs aren't going to play it tough, if that opportunity is there to get him they will still have to pony up and certainly will because if they don't he's going to be traded elsewhere and they will lost the that opportunity to get him whatsoever. They can still get a decent package even on a 1 year rental, they don't fleeced by the Cavs.

He missed a good chunk of the season and started to go downhill in the Eastern Finals when they had less time off in between games. LeBron ABSOLUTELY has a better chance going back to Cleveland, even without Kevin Love.

I'd still rather see Lebron go elsewhere not cleveland. Cleveland doesn't deserve Lebron after how they treated him. Plus the coach has no experience and the gm is a complete idiot who should be fired.

You mean when he kicked them to the curb on his way to south beach with his super friends? They have every reason to be angry because they got shat on.

He had the right to leave and made the right choice by doing so. Now he can return with better players. Cleveland people didn't have to burn the guys jersey.

But people were PISSED he left them like that (to go play with two all stars). He burned them badly so you have to understand their side. I agree the letter was a bad idea but Gilbert was speaking for an entire city that's been burned and hurt many times over by their sports teams and players. I don't begrudge them their anger. Also they weren't the worst team. They were continually getting the top spots in the Eastern conference when it was actually competitive. Do his team wasnt bad. I think he needed some more help and with that he would have undoubtedly led them to a title. But he left and created the super team (no doubt skirting the line of collusion ).

He was one of the big mouths against the Chris Paul to Lakers trade when it was "basketball reasons". Suddenly he has a chance for the best player in the world possibly coming home after he was GIFTED THREE overall firsts because their prodical son left. Where are those "basketball reasons"

Not to mention, that was the same Celtics team who only lost to the Lakers in the NBA Finals in game 7.

Their team was complete garbage from Bennett crapting everything he put up, Varejao and Thompson are decent but inconsistent, Waiters wasn't good at shooting and also inconsistent but he's young. With LeBron, Kyrie is going to flourish and will benefit drastically. I'm not claiming that the Cavs with LBJ will rule the East but they're going to be better than what the Heat can offer. LeBron will instantly make everyone on the Cavs better like he did during his first stint. Kyrie, Wiggins, Thompson, Waiters > Boobie Gibson, Mo Williams, Big Z, Anthony Parker

There's a joke about how not only is Lebron weighing his options, he's weighing how heavy the team is he will be carrying. That works with the cavs so much as without Lebron they suck, with him they are a contender.

Not to mention, their challenges in the East would be the choke artist Pacers, Bulls with Rose who may never be the same, Knicks possibly without Melo, Nets who were dysfunctional, plus the failure of acquiring Pierce & KG. I think the biggest challenge would be the Wizards, who looked pretty good last year as Wall is improving every year. The Raptors are up there as well, but they're still one more piece away from truly being contenders, as the team depends on Lowry too much down the stretch. But they're a young team and will make the playoffs pretty much every year for the next 4-5 seasons or so, if the core of the team is intact.
