It's the same one we've all seen, hopefully he'll come out around the same time, I'm sorry I don't have any underground sources to tell me anything specific. Lol I just saw everyone talking about it and I couldn't find anything about it Youre not alone dude, I was wondering what that was all about too. I had no reason to expect news about Mankind in relation to E30 Leg Luger photo leaking.

its correct 2 stripes in the front and 2 red stripes in the back may not be spaced correctly but its very accurate

I wonder if the barbells that come with Luger are a nod to his time in the WBF LOL.

GOtta say, my initial reaction is disappointment in Luger. The back of the tights look like there is area missing where there should be red stripes. I was also hoping for better accessories, if those track pants and weights are what they are packaging Luger with. Boots obviously should be fixed, and while by no means is it a bad figure, I had high hopes that the attire detail would be more spot on. They couldve added tassles ala SummerSlam 93 attire. Maybe I'm being too picky though - I did pre-order and was expecting to be blown away, which I'm not. Mattel has set such high standards for their figures (i.e. all of their Warrior attires) and they shouldn't be punished if they don't nail every single one. Those are Brock's track pants and yes, you're being too picky.

Why in the bluest of blue hells did people vote for that Lex?!?! Out of his 15+ year career he used that gimmick for less than a year. We should of gotten a Total Package Lex. I'm pretty sure he looked like that for about 2 years. From 93-95. I think it was a good choice, personally. Seeing as it was his main look WWF fans would be familiar with. And his other looks are plain which would mean boring figures. My favorite Lex is early WCW US Champion Lex, but I understand the choice.

Those are Brock's track pants and yes, you're being too picky. Perhaps, but here's what I would have changed: 1. Skin tone (he should be ALOT tanner) regardless of what version of Lex we are talking about, he was always very tan. Look at the RSC proto photo. 2. Tall boots and detail on boots. Lately Mattel has been off on the boot length - first Crush, now Lex, not a good trend as it really throws off the accuracy of how the superstar looked. Mattel could've added flaps from SS '93 or Lex Luger logo as seen in pic below: Since they seem to be going with the later version of Luger with the long hair (94/95), the logo would've been a nice touch. 3. Accessories are weak. Flag would probably have been similar cost to weights and at least he carried the flag on multiple occasions; never appeared in a segment with weights short of an ICOPRO spot. Other options would've been red/white/blue arm band from SummerSlam 93 match, or Made in USA jacket like Bret had a jacket in his RSC figure. Before people bring up the budget involved with this figure and some of the accessories I suggested, I want to point to several other figures that received better accessories while having highly detailed deco: Ultimate Warrior Legends 6 (dull belt, but yellow strap) Bret Hart RSC Exclusive (jacket and sunglasses) Macho Man Elite 23 (shiny Winged Eagle, later shipments even had first version of blue globe) If nothing else, I think I'd have had a different intial reaction if we got plain, white tall boots and a different accessory (Hacksaw's USA flag > Rybacks weights painted silver). I don't think that would've changed the budget, but would've made package more accurate. As much as it may seem, this isn't mean to pick apart Mattel, but I just wanted to give my detailed opinion on what I would change. Still happy I pre-ordered the figure and can't wait to see LOD.

Something tells me we're gonna be having this same boots conversation when they finally decide to do a classic 80's Hulk Hogan.

I really do like the Luger figure, it's a must for my collection. The little details are starting to slip a bit more often, and I don't like that trend. The boot situation is all the more irritating because they already have the parts made to do it right.

Lol damn man you really analyzed that. And actually I agree with most of what you're saying, but the bottom line is, at least on my mind, is not not criticize to the point where I'm annoyed, frustrated, etc because it won't change the way the figure looks and it's just not worth the stress But, very valid points you make

Where is this mankind photo you guys are talking about above? I only see brock and lex? And also I agree, huge bummer that lex has long hair, he had short hair from his WWF run and even his wcw run right after, he didnt get long hair until later!

why you give use wrong boots? arhh the smaller finer accurate detail get cancelled out and distracted by the noticable big errors, and it's fustrating

I don't understand why Mattel can't use tall boots when they have the fricking mold for it!
I don't complain too much because I understand it's a $20 toy but when existing molds are there, use it! E27 Billy Gunn annoyed me but they didn't have the mold. BUT FOR LEX, WHY MATTEL WHY?
Watch, the one time we get an Elite M$M, it's going to be the same issue...

Mattel hates to use that tall boot mold for some reason....this is like Jakks refusing to use the kickpads and giving guys like RVD the snow boots.
If it's already a part that you've made and used before....why not use it again?
Billy Gunn and Elite HBK's should have been given the LOD boots. Basic Macho Mans should be given the tall boots like the Elites get. Luger should have gotten the tall boots.
Just some very strange and very questionable boot choices from Mattel lately.

I think he meant that as "he's gonna own a Luger figure"
