Not gonna lie that hair color is what kept me away from Mattel for the first few years. Thought the figs looked cheap. Maybe it'll look better in person though I remember I was really critical of E23 HHHs hair color until I got it in hand then I came around on it.

I'd rather have the Narcissist with mirror, tbh. That's ridiculous. What if I want a short hair Luger? I'm supposed to cut the hair off? Well, not till you get a Brutus Beefcake figure.... Thanks to everyone that voted on this. Unless something changes drastically it will be the Allied Powers version of Lex Luger that debuts as an Elite Flashback in the line. This was the direction I was leaning towards to begin with, as it seemed the most appropriate for an Elite level execution. I will however be going with a longer haired head sculpt on the figure, as opposed to the closer cropped hair from this same period. So basically, the word "authenticity" means nothing to Mattel - although that is becoming increasingly apparent as of late, anyway.

No. authenticity takes a back seat to money. I'd say the vast majority of people don't care that his hair was actually shorter than depicted in this figure.

It's a solid figure to me, but I am not a Luger fan so I don't need him... Actually e30 is going to be mostly a pass for me... Which Is ok cause 29 is going to take all my monies.
