It was a awesome angle that crashed and burned after a while. I'll still remember their time fondly.

God that was a hot angle that turned ugly real quick. I don't use the word bury a lot, but Cena really did bury them at SummerSlam. And if they were going to split them up into two separate groups, (The Corre and New Nexus) at least have a final showdown between the two at WrestleMania. Just crap booking and one of the biggest what-ifs in WWE history.

Just crap booking and one of the biggest what-ifs in WWE history. With the way the 2011 Royal Rumble went, I totally expected a Nexus/Corre match at WrestleMania at the very least. Punk/Otunga/Husky/McGillicutty vs. Barrett/Slater/Gabriel/Jackson. Not terrible. Having Punk in it would've made it seem bigger. Instead the Corre got squashed at WrestleMania but Show/Kane/Santino/Kofi.
