According to wrestlezone.com, WWE reportedly held a meeting with all the wrestlers in the past week and instituted a new dress code. The company had a dress code in the past, but talent was not happy with it due to the brutal travel schedule. Violators of the dress code will be fined.
IF this is true, it's something that really makes no sense to me. I'm all for the guys looking professional but the dress code just doesn't apply to so many people due to their characters. John Cena, Wyatt Family, Daniel Bryan, etc are clearly not going to have to follow the dress code so why have it at all?
Thoughts on this?

Honestly, I'm surprised the dress code wasn't brought back sooner. It's just something I've always expected them to bring back.

Didn't we deal with this? When Punk was WHC and rumours of underTaker 'having a word with him' came around.

in bullsh*t. If they're not on camera they shouldn't be told what to wear, that's my take on it. Universal can't tell Brad Pitt he needs to wear a suit during his traveling while filming Fight Club 4.

What exactly is the dress code?
You know what I don't like (but completely understand why its done), that each wrestler (save a few) has to wear their t-shirt or bring their merch to the ring. Also, Rybaxel...it's the Summer, lose the skull caps. You look like dicks.

Possibly a black button up. Don't quote me on it tho, no pun intended

Nothing wrong with this. A lot of guys dress like bums and it looks bad showing up to the arena.

I have no problem with it. WWE is a multi-million (maybe billion I dunno) publicly traded company. When you're going to or from the arena, you represent the WWE. That's part of the real world. On your own time if you want to wear raggy sweatshirts and ripped up jeans, fine but when you're arriving or leaving a WWE event, you should not only look like a professional but act like one too. I dont know what the dress code is but I highly doubt anyone is asking them to buy $500-$1000 3 piece suits or designer dresses for the divas. Slacks, polo or button down shirt isnt too much to ask from someone that makes upwards of $100,000 or more a year.

Do you know how hard it is not to wrinkle button up shirts or khaki pants? Do you understand you cant just fold them up and put them in a suit case and expect them to come out looking nice. You here for wrestling of fashion?

What I dont get is why they are treating these people like children.
Let them express who they are. Thats what makes each of them unique.

Simple as that.
