I am listening to a podcast and these two fellows pointed it out something I never thought about.
Ambrose and Rollins have went their own way and created their own image, but has Reigns? He has their theme still(Altered a bit), attire, and entrance.
I understand that they are trying to make Reigns as a star, I like his work and all but I seem that he may actually be the oddity of the group.
We all pretty much are enjoying Rollins/Ambrose, but what about Reigns? Every time I see him, I see the Shield. That only happens with him. It seems as if Ambrose/Rollins are the ones that are the stars. I just don't get it. It seems like they are forcing him into the main event and don't quite have a grip on his character.
I first noticed WWE was messing around with his character when he drugged Stephanie's coffee and what not. That just seemed odd to me. That doesn't seem Reigns like to me.
I like Reigns, his ability, his mic work could use a bit more work, but overall I feel he might be rushed. I honestly don't see him working with a title reign until after Mania.
As for Rollins and Ambrose, I think Ambrose has surprised me the most of the bunch since the split. He has embraced his character even more and you all know I hated this guy, not his ring work, but his character. I love it now, it's awesome. Rollins is doing pretty solid and he is working the heel role perfectly. I would like to see him play more mind games with that briefcase.
I see Rollins maybe winning a match against Ambrose leading Rollins to be cocky and Ambrose egging Rollins on to put the briefcase on the line. Not sure when.
I just want to know what you all think of these three since the breakup.
I apologize for those who think their is so many Shield-Related threads.

I like all three. Ambrose the most. Rollins the least.
I honestly try not to over think any of it because I don't want get my hopes up and get them squashed and I also don't want to pull my hair out if "my guy" doesn't get what "I think" he deserves. I try to go with the flow and enjoy it as much as I possibly can.
I just like to watch professional wrestling and I like to see good stories unfold leading to great matches.
Whatever happens, happens.

Well, I think they all should have gone there separate ways a little sooner than they did and Ambrose definitely should have been the one to align with H. He can get heat with ease by just being a total sleeze ball. Rollins could be the good babyface that goes after Amrbrose. Basically the feud with have now with the roles reversed. Reigns would be having singles matches to see if he can do anything other than hot tags, and trying to improve before his inevitable super push.
Summary of my post: Dean Ambrose should be holding the briefcase, Rollins should chase, and Reigns should stick to mid card until he learns how to work/talk/do anything other than look pretty.
@punk: Calling Roman the one man Shield would be overkill to his already superpush.

@punk: Calling Roman the one man Shield would be overkill to his already superpush. But it's hilarious. He has the Shield Attire, Theme, Entrance and Entrance Video. Let's just make it ridiculous and make him come out in all the Shield Merchandise. Then Dean/Seth/Reigns can feud over the rights to 'The Shield' like DX in 1999. |

The biggest problem is that they're trying to rush Reigns into being the next Cena. Whenever you rush something like this, and shove a guy down people's throats, it's not going to end well 99% of the time.
Another part of it is; Reigns needs the Shield gimmick still, Rollins and Ambrose don't - which really should be the huge indicator of how much more talented they are than Reigns, imo. Take away the Shield stuff and the spear, and what's really that fascinating about Roman, other than his "look"?
By the time WrestleMania rolls around, I can forsee a good portion of the audience already being bored of Reigns - but they'll still be popping loud for Rollins and Ambrose. You can only hide him in tag matches so long, and once they are no longer able to, his weaknesses will finally be shown more, and people will start caring less and less.

Eh who cares if he kept it, he is good in the ring, good on the mic and the other 2 are more experienced so would find it easier considering the talent, just don't worry about his theme, just sit back and yell "AWOO" at the T.V when he does his Superman Punch

I'm actually confused on why Reigns still has Shield attire. Ambrose/Rollins is by far the best thing that's happened in the WWE for many years, the MITB match speaks for itself. So much respect for Rollins after taking that bump from Kofi. Ambrose is just flat entertaining. I do think his push is very rushed. I miss the old fashion push where everyone had a mid card run with the IC title. I believe Reigns/Rollins/Ambrose should roam around the mid card for now. That won't happen being that WWE has no top talent besides Orton, Cena, Lesnar, Wyatt(s), Kane, Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns.

Honestly, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy it. I don't prefer one over the other, I like them all and it's fresh.
Not going to sit and complain about who's getting pushed and whatnot.

I expected Reigns to get his own music and new gear as well. But you are right...it just screams Shield. Dont get me wrong...its a cool look. BUT....I think he needs to be more unique to stand out more. Nothing wrong with his NXT gear.

Looks generic to me. He'll blend in, WWE is trying their hardest to make him stand out because they know he doesn't have the skills to do it on his own.
