I have been amassing many BCAs over the past few months, selling off my Mattel Flashbacks collection in an attempt to get closer to my childhood with figures I never in a million years thought I'd ever see. I currently have the Razor/Diesel 2-Pack on its way, which I am super psyched about and cannot wait to add into the collection! Anyways, some fun facts about the figures: The Bulldog/Sid 2-Pack cardback is blank. The Best of 97 series was essentially re-releases but they redid the mold on Bret's head and it was only released here and King of the Iron Rungs. The re-release Series 1 Goldust on the Series 3 card is repainted and not exactly like series 1. And that is all I can think of for now, thanks for looking! EDIT: I was wrong, King of the Iron Rungs 4 pack had a Bret sculpt without the glasses

Nice collection. Is the ECW tv title a replica or a toy belt? The strap and paintjob make me think it's a toy belt but they never made a toy one.

Holy flashback man! Those Red LOD are awesome. I admire you for selling off the Mattels in favour of them. I did that with Classics, never regretted it and I'm sure your not either.

I currently have the Razor/Diesel 2-Pack on its way, which I am super psyched about and cannot wait to add into the collection! As much as I admire the display, it is the passion that you have for your collection that I wish I could like a thousand times over. There's no greater feeling as a BCA collector than what you're experiencing now. I recently came across an old Jakks newsletter in which Jerry "The King" Lawler was slated for a Best of 97 Series 1 release. He was replaced by fellow "Bad Boy" Stone Cold Steve Austin. Crush and "Wildman" Marc Mero were also late additions to Best of 97 Series 2.

Oh man, I remember reading those old Jakks newsletters on Matty Pearsons Wrestle World boards. I would have preferred another Lawler over Austin seeing as what we ended up getting in the next few years.
Don't get me wrong, I love the new figures but there is just something about walking In and seeing Razor and Diesel sitting on my shelf and remembering how they used to sell on this very site for 60-70 dollars back in the BCA heyday and I could never afford them but now here they are lol.
I am so excited for this afternoon when the Razor/Diesel 2 Pack gets here though. I am also working on buying the King of the Iron Rungs set from someone right now, fingers crossed I get it for the price we have been negotiating!

Updated pic with the Razor/Diesel 2-Pack! Woooo! The box showed up and the post office informed me that the package had to be re-boxed which definitely worried me but luckily it wasn't TOO bad but still a bit sad. I'm still just so glad to have it in my collection.

Great buy. When I bought my Razor/Diesel 2-pack several years back, it was in far worse condition than that. It didn't even bother me that Diesel was a veritable error figure with missing eyebrow and paint scuffs on the back so long as I finally had this set in my possession. That's how much it means to a BCA collector to add this to their collection, and I know that you know the feeling.

Haha, yeah, part of me was like "What the hell is this!?" and the other part was "Damn, I love this so much and can't wait to display it" haha. I think the last two figures I am going to pick up are Bradshaw from Series 4 and Flash Funk from Series 5 and then concentrate on my WWF VHS collection for a bit
