the person doing the interview was terrible. They need someone who's going to ask questions not ask bill what he wants to say. at least tim had questions from the wfigs community that he would ask bill. No, Tim asked what he wanted to know. He also asked re same questions over and over: Who's your favorite wrestler? Favorite match? Who would you put in a 2 pack? If you and your favorite wrestler had a 2 pack what would be in it? If I was a wedding planner and you payed me 6 months in advance, would you be mad if I took the money for the venue and disappeared for a 2 pack? This kid atleast is into it. But, don't ever ask if you have anything else to say! If you think he was into it than you have low standards He seemed like a space cadet. Tim did ask forum member questions, he used to take a sheet out and ask them. What exactly did he contribute to the interview besides holding the mic and even that was not done well. Whenever you have an opportunity to talk to mattel design team members than you have to take advantage of it. I'm not trying to bury the interviewer but all his interviews were subpar.

for the record.... I personally never missed or gave a crap about Defining Moments going away. And never really wanted it to come back anyway. I spend ENOUGH money on these ing toys, I'm perfectly fine with Elites & Flashbacks. I agree with you, the dm line is just so Mattel can charge us more for normal flashbacks. I actually hope the line dies again. No way is a normal hogan figure with yellow trunks and no deco anywhere with a cross, rubber shirt, and belt worth $25. Especially not considering how we get great accessories and deco in the normal line which I feel is a price already a little high but worth it. If we can get a figures like Brodus clay in elite 25 with huge tattoo deco, a hat, and cloth jersey and cloth pants for $17 there's no need for a dm line where we get figures that don't seem to cost that much but are $25 That Brodus also had a chain.

I'm amazed at some of the gripes about DM cost on here. I, for one, am absolutely thrilled that the Defining Moments figures are back. They're the best figs Mattel has produced to date, and if it costs a little more to get them, it's sure as hell worth it. I wish they were more than just quarterly, but I get why they'll tip-toe back into the premium figure space. For years, all everyone complained about on here was how we need Hogan, Flair and Ramon figures ... well, we've FINALLY got them. And they look AWESOME. Yes, they cost a little more. Big deal. Well worth it.

I thought it did but wasn't sure. So that means that Brodus- tattoo art, cloth jersey, pants, hat, chain-$17 Hogan- belt that most people kids probably don't want or even know, headband, rubber shirt, necklace-$25 So that means Mattel is making us pay $8 or more for less deco, a belt and the name "hulk hogan"

Only reason they are doing it is because it's Hogan, Razor and Sting and they are trying to milk the community best they can. Just judging from other lines they have, DCUC that I used to love, they will rape us with hte prices. No Way they are Defining Moments or even worth the price. Mattel pretends like they listen, only reason they "LISTENED" was so they can raise the price on Hogan and Razor and Sting.

And kids who are really into wrestling will know about Hogan and the others. That 80's WWF Championship has been one of my biggest wants and honestly I never dreamed it would actually be made. The fact that it's probably the only time it will ever be made brings up the value aswell. All these complaints about the price of Defining Moments are ridiculous. Paying a couple bucks more for the luxury of something a lot of collectors have been asking for (Defining Moments return) is something I'm willing to do. Hopefully people will buy them. But if you don't want to buy them, don't. I'm sure Hogan and Razor and everyone else will be made in the regular Elite line at some point. But no doubt they won't come with as many accessories as the Defining Moments figures.

Where did I announce defining moments pricing? There's always going to be folks who piss and moan about anything they can. Clamor for Hogan, Razor, and a possible Sting and you give us all three and the bitching still flows like the Mississippi River. Me, personally, I'm excited. I'll be buying all the DM figures and I'll get two Stings. The way I see it, if a few extra bucks is that huge of a deal to some, then you probably shouldn't be spending your precious dollars on toys. Thanks MDT for a glorious SDCC and great figures! Oh, by the way, when will you make me a WrestleMania 14 Undertaker?

If we are gonna see another taker flashback I'd personally prefer ABA taker with denim vest, bandana, and smaller sized VUM Undisputed belt but that could just be me...

I'm still waiting on a proper Elite of this guy. Remember the crow he came out with at Wrestlemania 9? And that hat with the jacket. Epicness. But, I digress.... JERICHO JERICHO JERICHO.....

The dm line to me is just for us to pay more for the big names, that might not mean so much to others but for some people where the economy is tight it's a lot harder. I just wish that I could get somebody like hogan without paying extra for it because it's a dm

Well I think Bill is telling us all to hold off on the pitchforks, because he hasn't told us what the retail for these figures are yet.
