Although Sting has never been a big favorite of mine, I'd welcome a figure.

Lita, the Junkyard Dog, Bobby Heenan and Captain Lou Albano all say having a shirt on WWE Shop doesn't mean squat. But yeah, it's been a forgone
conclusion for months that Sting was going to sign something with WWE. So yes, I figure is inevitable.
Where are all the people that said Sting would never sign with WWE?

for those wondering,it was Sting himself that said hed never sign with WWE after he saw what they did to the big names in WCW,they were treated like nothing in his opinion and he refused to allow that to happen to him (he was referring to Booker T and a few others).it was an interview in 2001 about a month? after the last WCW Nitro.for all we know he may have only signed a merchandise deal and will never wrestle in a WWE ring,i hope he does but the feud most of us wanted to see is no longer an option (Sting vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania).
as for the WCW belt with figures, they could just take the WWE logo off the current world heavyweight belt or paint it a different shade of gold.thats as close as we'll get to it though

Yup, he's got a merch deal. Defining Moments Sting with Bat and Jacket anyone? Heck yes - a Defining Moments Starrcade '97 Sting (with coat, bat, WHC belt), a RSC exclusive red and black/Wolfpac Sting and a couple of Flashback blonde-hair/surfer Stings... make it happen, Mattel!

This should mean he has a merchandise deal, if so I cannot wait for a Sting figure by Mattel. I hope we get confirmation soon.
