I'm trying to create some kind of discussion on this board (Come on Progs, help me!) anyway, what are some of your favorite (or not so favorite) over the top gimmicks? Could be your own or someone else's.
My favorite was one I had. Not over the top just that I WENT over the top with it.
The character was "The Doctor" and I bought the scrubs, the hat and the green mask. I learned long medical terms that no one would understand so I would be hated even more, and I had a finisher called the Flat Line. Simply, I put my hands over each other (like you would in CPR) and when my opponent stood up, I hit him in the chest, causing his heart "to stop". That was a pretty crazy and stupid gimmick.
Anyway, what are some of your over the top gimmicks?

I was about to start one of these discussions tonight, actually. Anyway, when I used to fed, I did the typical Frenchman gimmick, seeing as I myself am French.
Long story short, don't wrestle with a glued on fake moustache.

I like the doctor gimmick because you could take it way over the top and do a psycho doctor thing. Bloody scrubs and carry...SCISSORS. Why scissors?

aha, love the doctor gimmick, clever finisher idea too in SNW there's a big ZOmbie called Nightmare, who batters people, bites them, stabs them with forks, and basically tries to draw blood so he can drink it  |

I made a hacker gimmick a while back. His name was Gaz. He wore a black hoodie and a gas mask while holding a laptop. Honestly the best gimmick I've ever come up with.
