Hi, um..does anyone use Warhammer putty/sculpey for figures? If so, does it work like sculpey people use for custom figures?
What you do is, get a bit of yellow putty/sculpey and a bit of blue putty/sculpey, rub them together, and make a green putty/sculpey.
"The Green Stuff" it used to be called.
Any help appreciated.

i never used that but if it's putty it should work. i would get sculpey though just to make sure.

 the sculpey. Green Stuff (since you're in the UK) is the way to go. It's a 2 part epoxy putty that cures in the air, so there's no need for boiling or baking like sculpey. Take equal amounts of yellow and blue and mix. After it's thoroughly mixed, you can sculpt with it. Let it cure for about 24 hours. After that, it'll be ready to paint. It doesn't have to be 24 hours, but it's a good idea because you can have peace of mind that it's cured. And it's much more durable than sculpey. Seriously, stay away from sculpey. I've heard too many customizers with horror stories about the stuff. |

Cures rock hard. It's equal to Apoxie Sculpt (which is easier to get here in the States), and I've not had a problem with that. Because it's a two part epoxy that requires no baking, it's sturdier. You'll literally have to throw it against the wall for it to break.

I've been very interested in apoxie, but I was wondering if you can get it in any stores, I've looked around but so far I have come to the conclusion that you can only get it online.
