So  ing dumb and ridiculous, it astounds me!! Here I am, clicking through various YouTube videos and I happen to stumble across this one where some wrestling fan shares his opinions on UFC #175 and what he says in this clip, just makes me shake my ing head. I just cannot believe there are STILL people out there that actually believe UFC is fake. It just angers me and pisses me off that they are THAT dumb. I think this bozo has been watching too much of that WWE crap. I think he's been bopped over the head with Doink the Clown's giant hammer if he truly believes what he's saying. My god, he sounds like such a dumbass. Here's his thoughts on the Rousey fight: I have seen lots of this guy's other videos on YouTube and enjoyed them, but that all stopped when I watched the first clip posted above. Trust me, I would've posted my thoughts about him in the video, but he disabled comments probably because he knew he'd get trashed for sounding so dumb. This guy should just stick to wrestling because he doesn't know sh*t about UFC or MMA. End of story. |

The guy wouldn't even know what a cross was if I broke his jaw with it. Assaultandbattery is his name I believe and He has probably never even trained in any form of striking in his life so he can not fathom what a real fight is.

This goofball's real name is Ravi. I've seen him at various wrestling meet & greets over the years, but never actually said anything to him. If I ever do run into him again and if this crap is still fresh in my mind, then I will probably give him my 2 cents about how ing stupid he made himself sound in this video. This clown CLEARLY has been watching wrestling SO long, he's been brainwashed from it to actually believing UFC/MMA is fake or that fights are fixed. What a ing dickhead the guy is. He's been watching the fake stuff for SO long, he doesn't even know the difference between REAL fights and FAKE fights anymore. That's how dumb this Ravi guy is. This guy needs to give his head a shake and clear out the cobwebs and snap out of the fantasy land he's living in and step into reality. He just sounds like the dumbest wrestling mark ever. This guy deserves to get laughed at and made fun of for thinking the way he's thinking about the sport of MMA and UFC. Just stick to your fake WWE crap Ravi because it's obvious to me and EVERYONE else that you don't know f*ck-all about MMA or the UFC. |

People want to question the legitimacy of MMA because boxing has a shady history of fixing fights. I find it funny that he's attacking three of the most skilled fighters on the planet ( Wiedman, Rousey, Machida). Either the guy is delusional or really hates those fighters to make such ignorant comments. Some people just need to get off it. |

Aren't you still kind of a wrestling fan still Old School? I know you like mma better, but you can't totally hate wrestling when you still have a wrestling related signature.

I won't click on that. I remember a guy who came into my store, he was a big wrestling fan, actually works in the business. Somehow MMA came up, and he said, "you know that's all phony, right?" I said, "You're kidding, right?" He went out to explain how he was at a UFC event last year (2011 at the time) and that he could HEAR and SEE the fighters calling spots. He said, "I was sitting next to this kid, man, who is going to be huge. Up and comer, agh, what's his name.... Jens Pulver. I looked at him and I said man, they're calling spots!" He claims Jens said, "well... We, ya know, it really is dangerous." Mother ing liar. That's such a pro wrestling thing to do. 'Oh, I know this this guy, I saw this, you know that sh*t is fake?" Really sad stuff. |

Not to open a new can of worms here, but according to several sources including some of the fighters, there were numerous fixed PRIDE fights in the earlier years. PRIDE was kinda sketchy, even though it was amazing to watch at its best. |

I don't know why there has to be this war between MMA and pro wrestling. I think there are similarities in that UFC has, intelligently, kind of adopted some of the pre fight promo and feud concepts from wrestling into their product, and WWE has always been a form of "choreographed fighting," but they aren't the same, at all. I enjoy both of them to a high degree and I don't think one imposes on my enjoyment of the other. It's just an arbitrary battle, and I can't believe it's still going on with some fans.

My dad is convinced UFC is rigged too, but then again he thinks everything including blood in wrestling is fake too so....This guy is a fool though, you should have to pass a test to make YouTube videos.

Is UFC/MMA fake? Of course not....but do I believe there have been fights/matches that are rigged? Absolutely! Anyone that thinks otherwise is high or crazy. Any sport that can have a "fixed" outcome will have a risk of being rigged. Boxers have been taking a dive in matches for years, there's no doubt that it would happen in MMA as well, especially with a submission hold.
