Ok so I bought a Jamie Noble a couple months ago to make Justin Credible... both arms were regular skin tone. I took them off since Credible doesn't have taped hands. I replaced the arms with different arms but the skin tone was different on those arms, it was tanner. Now I put the original arms back on since I couldn't take the different skin tone and now one arm is tanner then the other. Is this a common problem or am I just imagining it?

Probably imagining it. I doubt you put the correct arms on. None of my figures have got darker skintone over time, and if others had I reckon they'd have said something.

I know since I only have one set of taped fists. But yeah I'm probably imagining it. Although sometimes on the bay I've seen really old R3 kurt angles that have orange skin tone or something.

Yes I think they discolor over time especially from the oils from your hands. Have had many figs parts sorta discolor they can do that especially if stored in a too hot environment.

depends how they are stored tbh I got a carlito as a freebie earlier in the year and the arms were a different colour to the torso

I doubt that the discoloration would be substantial enough over the years due to oils on your fingers. Figures left in open sunlight get brighter, but not heard of why they would get darker.
I reckon it'd just be something you didn't notice before. Many figures have arms that don't match torsos such as Kane, DH Smith, Hogan and Carlito as Bill said. I realised a few flaws in my figures a few days/weeks after opening them up that I didn't notice initially. I know I didn't cause anything, so they must have been there upon opening. Stuff you only see after a while, so maybe you just didn't notice before?

I have bought items brand new like Andre or Giant and many torsos and arms are different shades so I mix and match them and I notice that on alot on Hogan with the hulk mania white headband figures and if you look at the MDM white suit versions ALL of the necks are very pale skin tone that doesnt match his face color .
Now Im sure storage like heat and moisture matter but I dont think handling them gently will do anything as I find the issue right from the start is mis matched skin tones and its very possible you just didnt notice it because of the lighting as I also had that happen visually.
