Hey i was wondering what colors do you guys use for different skin tones? also is there like a primer you put down or can i jsut paint it white before i lay down the main paint?

I use different skin tones. Not everyone has the same skin tone.
I always prime my figures. That way, at least I know the paint will stick. Here's a rundown of the process I use:
-wash the figure with warm water and liquid soap
-let dry
-primer coat
-white coat (if needed)
-paint
A coat of white isn't always needed.

I use Testors Model Master paints.
Skin Tone Tint Base Lt and Skin Tone Warm Tint. Dunno what size the bottle is off the top of my head.
The primer I use is a brush on primer, made by Testors. It's in the same size bottle as the skin tones.

I have testors model paint as well but don't like it that much. if you want to paint many coats of paint on a figure use it because the paint is really thin. i would use an acrylic paint that is not oil based paint because it is much thicker and looks good on a figure as well. hope that helps as well.
