Well my week wasn't going that great at the beginning. On Tuesday I had my truck not start, and after a call to AAA, I learned it was the starter. After dropping it off, I then took a walk a couple miles down the road to get picked up, which isn't so bad, but Tuesday was hot and humid up here. By the time I got picked up, I thought I was going to pass out. Well after going through that crappy day, I get home, and find an Amazon box waiting for me on my front step. Knowing exactly what it was, I brought it inside, and opened it up to finally add The Man to my collection.
I had decided when I pre-ordered the Mankind figure, that it seemed like the right time to finally pull the trigger, and so I got two, one to have loose, and one to keep moc. The best part was, it was two days earlier than it was supposed to arrive. It really is a great figure, and a great addition to anyone who loves the old school guys.
Fast forward to today, Friday. I ended up going to the nearest TRU to me, which is still a bit of a drive. Originally I was planning not to, since I was there, last Friday, and picked up SSH CM Punk, but I decided to take the chance and head down. When I got to the WWE section, I was happy to see they finally got the new BOPPV figures in, but then noticed that I only saw Punk and Del Rio, which annoyed me, since I got them and Orton about a month ago. Then I looked some pegs to the right, and I finally saw it in person
I quickly grabbed it, since I've been searching for Axel for a month, ever since I got the other three at another TRU. Now, I can stop going out of the way for a while, since I have a couple of Targets in the area that I can look for e29 for.
I took some pictures with the newest additions to my collection, and figured I'd share them in this post.
