It doesn't matter if Cena turns heel because the fans that hate him now, will still probably hate him, and people will still complain that he always wins. Uh...isn't that the point of a heel?

He will eventually turn heel. I am guessing most of you are fairly young on here I am 40, and the cycle always comes around. Most of you have grown up with cena as the man and with pg. I grew up with hogan and pg too. Eventually everyone my age grew up and wanted a more mature product thus the attitude era was born, it will, last for awhile and then go away as more and more kids begin to tune in. And the cycle repeats. cena is getting close to all his fans maturing and wanting something different. Hogan was able to change because look at all the marketable guys WCW had at the time. Sting, macho man, flair ect. Right now wwe has mysterious as a merchandise machine and he is not going to be the main guy. Let reigns, and another guy or two get established in merchandise and then cena will switch.

Big difference between Hogan and Cena: Cena has been receiving mixed reactions since his first year as champion. They didn't pop up two years ago. There are always fans going through the three stages of wrestling fandom, and that has been the case throughout Cena's reign as top dog in WWE.

Hogan was booed as well all during his career, don't let wwf revisionist history fool you. Deep South and Texas wrestling never cared for the guy. You see it with cena because there is only on place to see him. In the 80's live events hogan would get booed of course wwf was all taped and edited but he was booed as well.

I cant see him ever turning heel. Hes the face of the company world wide and in alot of countries that arent "smart" to wrestling as we are. Its a gamble that just wouldn't pay off. For all the older fans that would be behind the turn theres gota be 10 kids who would hate it. Wouldnt make sense from a buisness standpoint.
