I've always been a huge Macho Man mark, and it's starting to look like we'll never see a CS figure. The only option is a custom now, and it seems that the best Randy Savage customs are perfect from the neck down. Why is it so hard to find a head that looks like Macho Man? There's just something about his face that no one can seem to exactly capture.
I've been looking at pictures and I see a slight resemblance to Chris Benoit, but the RA Benoit heads would look terrible.. they barely even look like Chris Benoit.
I think a lot of it has to do with the wild eyes, flat face and sunken cheeks. He always seems to have his lips pushed together or a huge grin, and no RA figure fits that bill.
Has anyone tried making a Macho man out of the Freebirds 3 pack? As far as I can see, the Michael Hayes head looks to be the best choice yet. With the Roberts torso and the Gordy arms and legs, you have all the parts you need (and not to mention a pattern for a cape). Think it'd work?
