Anyone got any tips for moving a collection to another house? I'm mostly worried about loose figures getting ruined if they're in a box for too long.

I just moved and bought 6 plastic containers and 2 huge rolls of bubble wrap and I layered 2 rows of figs with it. Worked nicely. I also threw all the accessories into a shoe box size container with lid.

Bag them up in Ziplock bags and move them asap. Then set them up

Zip lock bags and study plastic tubs. Move them in your personal car and set them up first or move them to a closet where you can keep them all together. Pack the bins loosely and you should be fine.

Thanks for the replies, probs gonna go with the bubble wrap/layers method, less time consuming.

Don't leave them laying flat for too long. The first time I moved with my Mattel collection I had them flat for several weeks before putting them up. I had to spend straightening the legs, especially on elites, using hot water because the figures in the top rows made the legs spread at the knees on lower rows. Those knee pins are soft and will flex under even light pressure.

Taller figures like Andre, Show and Nash might need to go separate, but the rest, even spaced tight together will be fine if you keep them out the heat for very long.
