Latest box office gross for GOTG is over $300 million worldwide. Hercules is at $136 million world wide. I guess this means Batista is ~2.5x the movie star that the Rock is...heh heh. (Don't hate. I'm just playing around here )

Kind of a questionable release date imo and the marketing didn't seem to be very good for it. I think I saw a trailer for it twice but everything else I saw came from the Rock's Twitter.

A little slow getup, but otherwise STRONG plot. I really liked Rock's take on Hercules and was not expecting this.

Guardians was such a fun film. The Marvel Cinematic Universe just keeps getting better.

I've seen it three times. I love movies, but I can count on one hand the movies I've seen in theaters that many times.
No clue how Marvel Studios expects me to wait until 2017 for more Guardians of the Galaxy...lol

Just got done seeing it a 2nd time, this time in IMAX...
And it was much, much, MUCH better this time around. Solid 3rd on my Marvel list (behind Avengers/Cap 2) -- now 3rd on my Summer '14 list (behind ASM 2 and Cap 2)...damn good movie. Damn good. I'm glad I gave it a second viewing in theaters.
I took my dad with me this time, and he pretty much DESPISES colorful sci-fi/alien types (Star Wars/Star Trek, etc, etc) -- but he enjoyed this movie immensely. Which was absolutely shocking, and definitely impresses me as far as it's appeal/quality goes.

I saw the film on Monday and I enjoyed it very much! I liked X-Men: Days of Future Past a little bit better but this was a close 2nd on my list.
I'd definitely see it again though I doubt I'll have the time to do so.

Did anyone else notice a nice cameo by Lloyd Kaufman in the jail scene? That's a nice teacher/student homage. I did. I thought it was Mel Brooks.

Saw it twice and I just loved it both times. Took my wife & son the second time and they both liked it very much. I hope they sign the director for the sequels so the script will be just as good.

Went to see Days of Future Past again at a local dollar theater. It made me appreciate Guardians SO much more. GotG is such a stellar movie. It might easily be my favorite comic book movie.
