Even though people have trashed the gimmick, I don't understand why? Glacier was incredible and who cares if he was a Sub Zero rip off he was awesome, a Glacier figure would be the most eye catching figure to date that Mattel has done. Yes I said more eye catching that The Wyatt Family or the upcoming Doink figure. Glacier has been featured by the WWE, they did an interview with him on WWE.com and have featured him on their Countdown show so the WWE knows who he is. Glacier's gimmick presentation could also be a hit with the kids. Seeing as he wore a mask during his entrance and all (see Sin Cara) and most young fans are drawn to masked stars. His attire also sets him apart from the rest. Just look how good visually he was. I don't care if he wasn't as good as a Daniel Bryan or a CM Punk in the ring. Mattel would craft an amazing figure if they ever did a Glacier. So if Mattel were to ever do a first time WCW flashback, meaning they never went to the WWE, I would cast my vote for Glacier. Also I think the detail of the blue eye would give it a little more BAM into the presentation.

I mean, yeah... I remember the guy from back in the day and I liked his work. But I doubt we'll see him (especially as Elite).
Maybe after these 5 years are up and Mattel secures the renewed contract. Then we can hope for more obscure talents modern fans wouldn't even be remotely familiar with.

I'm going to have to say no to this one. Don't get me wrong, I liked WCW, but this angle stunk like a skunk. Give me the likes of Ron Simmons, The Patriot, Sid Vicious. To your defense, we are getting Doink which I love but was a pretty crappy angle itself. With that said I guess it's possible.

I'd prefer Mortis, but I'd also buy a Glacier. I doubt either will ever happen.

Would love to see a Glacier, Wrath and Mortis figure down the line and would buy all of them! Man, we definitely need more WCW guys!

If only we made up a greater percentage of sales. He looks cool, but I don't think kids would care. All the new molds would be too much for Mattel's budget to allow.

It would be cool.. but on your shelf in entrance gear.. he wouldn't really look right. I dig kinda dig him though.

It would be a cool figure no doubt but I don't think I'd buy it personally.

Glacier was a horrendous worker. Wcw invested so much money and time into the character but it was doomed considering the guy couldn't work or talk. Had rvd portrayed the character like was the original plan it could have been decent. The entrance gear cost wcw around 30k not to mention the laser light show and snow falling during his entrance. Mortis and wrath were both way better as was proven by the crowd reactions they got. I think the character had a striking look that would translate well to an action figure but I'd feel a bit embarrassed to have a glacier fig in my collection. This coming from a guy who collects tons of wrestlecrap. I'd certainly prefer a Mortis or wrath who have all the same upside as far as being aesthetically pleasing but were also at least decent performers.

Doing glacier would be amazing and would be one of the best selling figures ever.
I think due his look he has a pretty strong fan following.
But Mattel views him as a risk, plus they probably don't went the hassle off making his accessories for such a risky figure.
But I guess they prefer Mark Henry or Cena as warmers over Glacier who I think would move like hot cakes.

There is zero chance Mattel would ever make Glacier. I always thought it was a pretty terrible gimmick and the guy was a horrible wrestler.

You don't even understand how hard I would mark out for a Glacier.

A Glacier figure would stand out on store shelves and in collections. I'd definitely buy one.
