If he can pull it off, sure, why not. Wrestling fans love nostalgia. And even if the match is crappy, which is likely, the headlines will sell tickets and buys, which is all that matters to the WWE anyway.

Hogan won't put Cena over so what's the point. Plus his back will shatter into a million pieces "Hogan won't put Cena over" No sh-t. Cena wouldn't be put over by beating Hulk just like the opposite is true as well. Nobody needs to be put over in that match, they're two of the biggest  ing stars ever. |

-Cena comes out to cheering boos -Hogan comes out to cheers -Hogan uses his well versed repertoire of moves -Cena will carry most of the match -Cena will get it with a big boot and a leg drop -Hogan will flex to the audience -Fin.  |

First, Hulk Hogan shouldn't be training for anything other than to stay in shape at his age. Second, with the back stimulator, I thought WWE would even allow Hogan to wrestle a full match cause that stimulator will shatter into pieces the second he takes a back bump. So yeah, you can count Hogan out for anything physical related in the WWE.

I’d love to see Hulk Hogan wrestle one more time. I’d like to see him in a Tag Team match with John Cena and then a match against him, similar to the Rock and John Cena series when they first teamed up against the Awesome Truth. I know it’s not possible or probable, but a Tag match against Ric Flair and either the Miz or Dolph Ziggler would be nice. Hogan can finally retire when he’s in the HWF (Heaven / Hell Wrestling Federation) with Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior.

Can't see WWE letting him do it but then again it is Hogan and Cena. Hogan pulled a rabit out of his ass in the 02-03 run. Maybe he can do it one more time with Cena. But in his 2002-2003 run he was also only had 3 major surgeries at that point, he has now had more than 20. |

I don't think this is out of the realm of possibility at all. Seems like something WWE would be willing to do in order to make money. If Hogan is healthy enough to make it happen then I expect to see it happen. Doesn't really matter how I feel about it. I do agree a tag situation would be better but that doesn't have the same marketing appeal.
I think the major problem I see with the match is potentially having to position it as the main event.

It'd be horrible but I still want to see it haha. I've never been a fan of either guy really either, although I respect both of them.
As for Hogan not putting Cena over? You should check out when Hogan was getting his ass beaten weekly in WCW in 2000 by Billy Kidman. Of course Hogan will put Cena over, not that he's going to have a say in the matter at all.

So was and is Shawn Michaels and Hogan didn't put him over either so Michaels made the match look like a joke by over selling. Same goes for Orton. Guy was the legend killer, only 26, beat every other legend.. Foley, Rock at Mania (didn't pin him but still) Undertaker twice, and a lot more. But nah.. instead of helping out the young guy and boosting him even further in his career.. Hogan has to put himself over.. and of course Orton decides to over sell in that match too so it looks like a joke |
