So, everyone (so it seems) wants Brock to win at Summerslam and thinks there's no way in hell he will lose.
I suspect he'll be holding it for it for a while, probably until Wrestlemania, which is quite long away from now.
so, that'l be a long run for a inactive champion, I really think the MOST he could do is 1 off 1 on ppv schedule, that might even be to much for his booked time there (correct me if I'm wrong)
i doubt he'll be on many RAW's, again, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think he'll be on many RAW's, nevermind ppv's.
this is why I think him being champion will be unenjoyable. I think the champion should defend on most ppv's and only miss a few RAW's at the most.
I've tried of thinking of ways that he can't become champ, like Seth cashing in, which most of you thought wouldn't happen, Cena turning heel etc, but that probably won't happen.
There's no one along the way to WrestleMania in the current roster that could take it away from him.
so, if Brock does win, will you really enjoy him being champion for a more than likely 8 months?

Sadly. i think Cena is gonna retain at SS cause Vince wants to continue this "cena is the greatest ever" garbage.

Brock has been my favorite for 12 years, so I want to.. But I'm having doubts due to his contract schedule. This buildup to the match with Cena has been horrendous due to the fact that neither guy has even been in the same ring together. They have one more show to give this feud any value.
Things may be better once Brock gets into a program with someone who will be on TV more often, but I'm still skeptical. He really needs to make more appearances or be in a group where others can fight for him. It's a shame they didn't keep Cesaro with Heyman to fight Brock's battles (until Cesaro finally got tired of it and turned)

Anyone besides Cena, then yes. I don't know how I'll feel about Brock not being full time until Mania. I was on the fence during Rock's reign as well.

I belive Vince does see him as the 'greatest champ ever' and all that, but putting him over Brock CLEAN is a big risk I think even Vince wouldn't do. And I'm fairly certain Vince has ALOT of respect for The Undertaker. Maybe even more than he does for Cena. So for Vince to allow Cena cleanly go over the guy who ended the streak would shock me. Not to mention, piss me off |

It's a shame they didn't keep Cesaro with Heyman to fight Brock's battles (until Cesaro finally got tired of it and turned) I do agree with this, I like Brock a lot, but it's just his schedule that puts me of. also, about the bit where you said the build up has been weak because both have been of TV, if Brock wins, don't expect better feuds, Brock will still not have much TV time, so I suspect most of the filler feuds to Mania will be weak. |

I'd be very surprised if The Rock coming back, Brock Lesnar coming back, Paige being called up, Daniel Bryan getting pushed, CM Punk getting pushed, Seth Rollins getting pushed, the brand split ending and the titles being unified didn't stop people complaining... But somehow Lesnar winning the title will. No matter what happens at SummerSlam, or every wrestling event after that, people will be complaining. |
