Not a fan of this game at all so far. Connected franchise Is horrible when I only want to play a normal franchise where I don't have to be just one player. And the defense's new camera angle is horrible.
What the hell were they thinking with these intellectually- disabled features.

Not a fan of this game at all so far. Connected franchise Is horrible when I only want to play a normal franchise where I don't have to be just one player. And the defense's new camera angle is horrible. What the hell were they thinking with these intellectually- disabled features. Be a coach or owner. Thankfully I just won my 5th online game so I don't ever need to play online again. I finished 5-4. But last night in an online head to head game I realized again why I hate playing these games online. It was so glitchy. Every time I went to pass the ball my players all stopped for a second while his continued to move and every pass I threw ended up being intercepted or dropped. And the whole 2nd half of the game I was picking a 4-3 or Nickel defense and my team would line up in punt & field goal formations. Very frustrating. But once the Raiders announce their final roster cuts today I will just play offline franchise modes. |

I'm usually awesome at defense, but holy crap. I play offline franchise and every computer qb completes like 95 percent of their passes. Just makes the game not fun at all, knowing that they never make a mistake and always throw perfect passes.

I'm usually awesome at defense, but holy crap. I play offline franchise and every computer qb completes like 95 percent of their passes. Just makes the game not fun at all, knowing that they never make a mistake and always throw perfect passes. Really? I enjoy defense so much more this year. Do the basic and advanced skills trainer and try again. It sounds elementary, but it really helps. (You also get a free MUT pack.) |

I am actually really enjoying this year's game, although that could be because I had not bought a Madden game for a few years, so a lot of the "it's the same as the last few years" complaints don't bother me, because it's all fresh.
Lost a franchise game on a last second field goal last night. Can't remember the last time I was that happy and pissed off at the same time.
On one hand, it was a close, down to the wire game.
On the other hand, I lost.

And I just lost a playoff game because while driving downfield for the go ahead, my Receiver ran into my other receiver while the ball was in the air... and somehow was called offensive Pass Interference. WHAT?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Tom Brady has just retired after year 3 of my franchise mode. I won three super bowls in a row with Brady and the Pats and now I am stuck with two 54 overall rookie quarterbacks and Jimmy Garapolla (did I spell that right?) who has regressed to a 73 overall. I still have by far the best defense in the league and an o-line that has overalls of 97, 94, 92, 88, 83. The AFC East is a very weak division now at least with Ryan Tanehill, Geno Smith, and EJ Manuel all gone from there respective teams, which is a bit surprising. I can easily make the playoffs still by running the clock with Shane Vereen and newly signed Leveon Bell. I got a 93 overall 6'6 reciever that I developed over the past two years who is like Calvin Johnson. Plus Edeleman and Gronk. All I need is for Garapolla to complete 10-15 passes a game and not turn the ball over and I should have a deep run in the playoffs once again.
