- Marc Mero tried to contact TNA president Dixie Carter about the company's drug testing policy, but was told by TNA lawyers that they considered the subject a private matter.
- Jerry Jarrett wrote a letter to the WU Online website, and stated that he would encourage his children to not let their kids to watch TNA or WWE. Jarrett feels the content of both shows have a negative influence on children.
- 80's wrestler the Angel of Death (real name - Dave Sheldon) did a radio interview on 7/31. He said he personally witnessed Rick Steiner injecting steroids in his rear.
- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Adam "Pacman" Jones is under contract to TNA for three months.
- TNA believes Jones will wrestle twice - at No Surrender on 9/9 and at Bound for Glory on 10/14.
