Because as a character Steph is sheer brilliance and you need matches like this to justify all the ridiculous thigs the authority does to ambush people who they are not in favour of or else there is no pay off. This as well. |

The whole thing seems like a vanity project to me. I don't even understand why the Bellas have jobs. They have jobs because, as attractive twins they are marketable. They are the stars of Total Divas. And, they are no longer god awful in the ring. Both girls have worked pretty hard to at least be decent in the ring. Brie trains with Daniel Bryan for at least two hours per day. Dating John Cena and Daniel Bryan helps greatly, but they deserve their jobs as much or more than most main roster divas. |

It's been said but... Steph has heat. Tons of it. I'd dare to say that Steph and Heyman are the top 2 heels in the company and they aren't even active wrestlers. They have been building this for months. Why not make a blowoff match out of it? How else would you end it really? I actually really liked the storyline until that God-awful segment last week on Raw ripped right from TNA headlines. Plus, Steph might pop out. Pretty much this. I wish the last week's segment never happened. God was it horrid.. I do have faith the match and whatever else happens tonight will be much better like the first couple segments they had. |

Steph has been mostly great with some cringe worthy overacting, while Brie has been totally cringe worthy.
It is hilarious to see Triple H as a third wheel though.

I thought the whole thing was about keeping the focus on Stephanie and Hunter, who have been on TV as "The Authority" for a year now with no end in sight. I enjoy Brie beating Steph, though, I hope she whoops her ass tonight. why would they possibly need brie bella as a way to keep the focus on the authority. they could've gone with any number of different story lines. the focus is clearly on brie, i'm guessing they're trying to capitalize off total divas or whatever, but she is garbage on the mic and a terrible actress nevermind her wrestling skills. looks to me like they're just trying to capitalize on that she's seen as 'daniel bryan's girl' by the fans and establish her as her own character, but i haven't found it entertaining whatsoever. |
