I just started visiting this section, and searched but didn't see anything like this, I thought it might be funny. Whats the funniest one liners you've heard a wrestling commentator say? A more recent one I thought was hilarious was on Hogans B-day episode, Michael Cole says "And Dean Ambrose, lurking in Hulk Hogan's birthday present!"

I can't think of any off the top of my head but I know Joey Styles back in the original ECW was great at including sarcastic one liners in his commentary.

I don't know why, but I cracked up like hell the first time Jerry Lawler said: "I just found the angel I'd like to be touched by."
Then he used it a couple too many times, but damnit, the first time it was gold.

Then he used it a couple too many times, but damnit, the first time it was gold. I know it haha, he would say the corniest stuff, over and over again haha. One of my favorites is "He tried to enter an ugly contest and the judge said sorry no professionals" hahahah

It's just that, quite like fathers who use dad jokes, he says them so many times. But whenever he pulls out one I haven't heard before, it'll get me giggling like a child.

Just pick a time and a place and you'll find a hilarious line from The Brain.
My personal favorite is him calling Reba McIntyre Areeba McIntyre and saying she's Tito Santana's sister at Wrestlemania 8.
"It's not fair to Flair" is great as well.
"Jannetty tried to dive through the window"
He has so many great ones.

That's the thing with Lawler. He says some hilarious stuff. And they repeats it over and over to the point where its completely killed his commentary for me.

Like when the $9.99 gag gave him something new to play off of, saying "He got up at 9.99!" was funny. But now that's been beaten into the ground as well.

McMahon: "Right now, we’re gonna take a look at MOM, Men on a Mission!" Heenan: "You’ve got it wrong, McMahon. It’s Men Who Eat and Live at a Mission."

Anything said by Heenan at Royal Rumble '92, WM 8, or the Hart's vs Knights match at Survivor Series '93.
