Okay, so I got this ring about six years ago for £1 which is a great deal, but it didn't come with any turnbuckle pads and thought nothing of it until recently I decided that I would try to find some online to complete my ring. While researching the ring, I found 4 versions of it: The old LJN one, The Jakks one with the red, white and blue ropes, the Jakks one that said Raw is War on the side and another Jakks one that said Monster Ring on the side. I have looked over eBay, Google Images and on here as well, but I have not found another ring like mine that said "Warzone" on the side, so I was wondering if anyone had any information about this version of the ring. Was it an alternate set of decals or was it some kind of UK exclusive version? Any information would be great, thanks. (Pics below)

The War Zone Monster Ring was just a re-release of the Raw Is War Monster Ring with alternate stickers/decals. I don't have an exact date of release, but based on the cover art I would have to presume it was from late 1999/early 2000. It very well could be a UK exclusive, though I wouldn't know for sure. No problem. I wish I could be of more help to you. After my initial post, I came across an old figure report that could link the War Zone Monster Ring to a mid-2000 release here in the states. It's not much, but I can say with certainty that it did fall under the umbrella of the early TTL era.

Thanks for the credit, Chicago.
Sorry, but I do not have any additional info other than being able to check the dates on various Monster Ring boxes if you would like to know that as I picked up mine within the last 5 - 7 years or so.

This ring wasn't heavily promoted either, so it's very likely it saw an uneventful release months after the fact.

Bought mine in TRU back in 99, the Raw is War one with Bret, HBK, Sunny and Stone Cold on the box art/photos. Absolutely loved it with many happy memories. Sold it back in 2007 though because I wanted an updated ring and got the RSR Elimination Chamber one in its place. Good times though.
