I don't know if its just me that's noticed this, but over the last 6 months I've been more aware of Classic Superstars prices rising at a quick pace. Its not just Warriors that I'm talking about but things like Mr Perfects and DDP's seem to be gaining more money.
But. Classic Exclusives like Ringside figures, Toyfairs etc. Seem to be dropping quickly. The 1/100's are decreasing at an alarming rate and when I've sold 1/3000's they're hardly getting anymore than £15 a piece. A few years ago I never would have thought they'd go for so low.
Why do you think that is? Theories are welcome. I was hoping to start a sensible discussion.

This can't be, what about all the claims of Jakks figures being worthless, and being sold for pennies on the dollar?

I been saying for a while the CS are going up and not really talking MOC but as an example I buy a lot of Deluxe Beefcakes just for the head and I used to get um with body for under $10 most times but now they are up to $25 to $30 MOC and loose $20 and very rare to find these days and only one deluxe on feebay in a month . Not sure on Perfect as I have to on feebay mint out of box at $11 and nobody is watching ?
Andre was always strong but I got two young andres at $10 a piece shipped and he used to be $25 to $35 but I think thats dipped because of Mattel Andre as his face is really that good and I use him on all my Jakks the scruffy andre beard that is . The Hammer has also gone up and I really think alot of Loose CS have gone up do to guys trying to mod the heads to Mattels to shore up there weak legends roster but they just look like bobble heads .
Hogan and Road warriors will always hold there price and guys like Shango , danny davis referee and even some rocky figures guys use for mods like Lou the ref or Grazzo mod to Tunney .
I kinda play the feebay like the stock market as I know whats on the rise of whats cold more then I care to admit so I do alot of side dealing and avoid bid wars .

the ones I still need are practically impossible to find or way too high, MOC or LOOSE
IDK if they've gone up or down, but they've been high since I've looked at:
Danny Davis, Koloffs, Rock N' Roll Express, Bastion Booger, Stan Lane

Everyone who sold their Jakks to buy more Mattels are going to want their Jakks back. Sooner or later. Believe that.

Yep I just cant understand it especially with Jakks CS roster unless younger guys dont care about Legends Line ? I mean do mattel guys think they will ever get all the announcers , jobbers , RSR rings and multiple version of each wrestler ? But I guess some people just want change for change and they will learn they dont know what they had till its gone ! But the funnest part of the Jakks is theres so many simple Mod possibilities and fixes its amazing and this last month I looked at Mattel hard if I should switch and I knew I could never enjoy them with the no lips , over articulation and when I hold a Jakks now that feels like a figure not some half arsed light wannabe toy . Dam I like Jakks so much Im gonna buy a backup WM2 RSR and store it as prices are going crazy ! Sorry to go on but no hobby has ever game me so much enjoyment .

Now is the time before it gets really bad for CS. It's only going to get more expensive from here.

I'm so glad that I started collecting them when I did !
I hated that I sold my original collection, but I've been able to get the majority of them back and almost everyone that I had before I sold them.
The last complete series that I purchased was CS 9, but by the time that Series 10 started up I had lost interest and started getting into other hobbies, so I sold them all for about what I had paid for them.
When I decided to start collecting again, they werent AS expensive as some are now, but I knew which ones that I really really wanted to get before they did indeed spike in prices.
With that being said, does ANYBODY have a CS 23 Berzerker MOMC that they're wanting to sell ?!

I started collecting CS back in 2010 after the line ended, have made/bought customs and pretty much have everyone who ever mattered in wrestling. I buy the occasional mattel figure to fill in some gaps like Road Dogg or tag team era Christian but otherwise I'm jakks all the way. I have no idea why people would sell their jakks in favour of mattel when the two brands are fine together be it for display or play.

I really have to disagree about your statement they look fine together because they really dont articulation wise and scale wise as there to different beasts . Back on subject I notice the rocky Referee Lou F had dark blue pants so I couldnt do the mod as I was gonna do a short sleeve Hebner so I had to beg a guy for Danny Davis as the cheapest was $32 he took pitty and sold it for $22 buy now free ship but not many are for sale and most are going for $50 signed so hold on to your DD guys !

Ok just as a test I bid on a Elizabeth figure MOC and you could buy it now on feebay from Ringside for around $26 , so I bid on another that started at $14 and shipping $10 and some guy out bids me up to $30 total when he could have just bought now for $26 shipping from Ringside . So my question is are people really this stupid or lazy to search ? as I see it happen all the time and now I even just blind bid and people will immediately outbid me on even average items so whats up with the CS Jakks ? Must be Mattel guys having buyers remorse

I noticed how the 1 of 100's were dropping in price so much, it was pretty suprising to me.
