So, I made a top ten list of potential future WWE World Heavyweight Champions on my blog, which you can read by clicking the link in my sig and it got me thinking. Can you guys name ten or however many Superstars that you think have World Title potential?

Dean Ambrose Bad News Barrett Roman Reigns Big E Cesaro Bray Wyatt Luke Harper Sami Zayn Ryback Rusev
I was gonna put Kevin Steen and Prince Devitt on the list, but they haven't even debuted yet, so I wouldn't know until they've been on TV for a while.
BTW I like your blogs, very entertaining reads.

Ambrose Rollins Reigns Wyatt Cesaro
I'm 99.9% sure that those five guys will win the WWE Title one day, five other guys I see winning the WWE Title one day are Barrett (hopefully), Dolph (hopefully), Kofi (hopefully), Cody (hopefully) and someone like Swagger/Ryback/Rusev.

10, in the one-title era? Hmmm...
Reigns Ambrose Rollins Wyatt
Those are the only four I got. I'll go for a wildcard choice in Luke Harper also. And then there are speculative possibilities from NXT like Sami Zayn, Devitt and Tyler Breeze.
If there were still two belts, add Barrett to the list and possibly Ryback too.
I'm not ruling out Rusev completely, but we've got the monster champ now in Lesnar, and I think by the time WWE's ready to do another one, Rusev will have already lost a lot.

On the current roster...
1) Roman Reigns - Already in motion. 2) Dean Ambrose - Of the 3 Shield members the WWE seems to be the least behind him (which is crap) but he is over like crazy. I feel he will have a long and tough road to the title but the fans will get behind him big and will force the WWE to push him like they did with Bryan. 3) Bray Wyatt - This guy has all the makings of a top heel. Even with the crap booking over the past few months he is too talented not to make it to the top. Perhaps he will be the one to take the title from Roman after Reigns wins it.
These 3 are the only locks I currently see as future world champs in an era with 1 world title. A lot of people are picking Rollins but I don't see it as a sure thing right now, even with him holding the MITB briefcase. His character is lacking and take away the Authority heat and he is another stereotypical cowardly heel. I want to see him succeed but I don't see him anywhere near main event ready right now. For the foreseeable future I see his nitch in the upper midcard but I hope I'm wrong.
Cesaro is talented as hell but bad booking and a lack of backing in the backstage has killed most of his momentum. I don't see the WWE pulling the trigger on him as world champ which will be a shame if this is true.
Wade Barrett has all the tools to be a top player but I feel his opportunity in the main event has passed. Again bad booking and his history of injuries seem to have killed a lot of his backstage support for a main event push.

Roman Reigns Dean Ambrose Seth Rollins Bray Wyatt Bad News Barrett Kevin Steen Sami Zayn (Could easily see a Bryan esque win from him) Cesaro
Can't think of any other definites but these two have a great chance:
Devitt Solomon Crowe

Over the past 8 years there have been 15 different WWE Champions.
I personally see over the next 8 years only a few new talent winning for the first time with people like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt being on my list as far as Main roster talent goes. When it comes to Developmental, I think guys like Sami Zayn, Prince Devitt and Kevin Steen all have a chance at the title. It'll be interesting to see who the champs will be and whether or not there'll be so many different champions over the next 8 years.

I forgot about Cody. But not that he's Stardust I can't see it.......what a up there. People talk about Ryback being a missed opportunity but go watch Cody's run around Battleground last year. That crap was insane. He went from nothing with Sandow to the number two face behind Bryan and then back to nothing within months......

Current roster? Reigns, Rollins, and that's probably it with the current crop barring some big DB like overness.

If I were to look at the current roster and pick 10 people who could potentially be future World Heavyweight Champion the list would probably look something like this:
1. Ryback 2. Bad News Barrett 3. Roman Reigns 4. Dean Ambrose 5. Seth Rollins 6. Luke Harper 7. Big Cass (With Enzo as his hype man) 8. Viktor 9. Kevin Steen 10. Big E
They all have the right tools to make them potential World Champions and I wouldn't be mad about any of them holding the belt.

John Cena returned only 3 weeks around Battleground at Hell in a Cell. I think even through those three weeks Cena was the first or second top babyface through the announcement of his return.

Go back and watch the Raw where Cody and Goldy jump the barricade or Battleground when they beat The Shield.......very hard to argue that he wasn't the number two face at the time. Weather the WWE wanted it that way or not you can't argue with crowd reactions.

He'd put on the two best singles matches of his career against Orton within a few months of one another (the second being when he got fired), he cuts the promo of his life walking out the door, then has stellar tag matches and 6 man tag matches upon return & they decide to put him on the bottom...of the tag division...then in paint #wwelogic

The sad thing is that if they would have simply given Cody and Goldie the mania feud/match they've wanted for years Cody could still have been in the upper echelon of talent..... Instead they wasted an amazing team by not even putting them on the card and now they're a joke. If Cody doesn't turn on goldust and I mean fast then his career is dead. Its a shame.....he has turned chicken crap into chicken salad for years now.
