Cody doesn't have the personality to be a WWE champ. He was a fine IC champ but that's the most he ever should be/ever be.

Rollins Cesaro Ambrose Reigns Barrett Ziggler Wyatt
After that its a crap shoot.
If this was posted like 4-5 months ago I would have said Cody Rhodes but I do believe Stardust has killed any chance he ever had at being WWE Champion.

10, in the one-title era? Hmmm... Reigns Ambrose Rollins WyattThose are the only four I got. I'll go for a wildcard choice in Luke Harper also. And then there are speculative possibilities from NXT like Sami Zayn, Devitt and Tyler Breeze. If there were still two belts, add Barrett to the list and possibly Ryback too. I'm not ruling out Rusev completely, but we've got the monster champ now in Lesnar, and I think by the time WWE's ready to do another one, Rusev will have already lost a lot. That's the list imo. Unless something changes drastically within the next 2-3 years, I think those are the guys we see elevated. Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett are the two guys I've half expected to make a main event push for a few years now but that was under the WHC logic. Not sure either will ever get past the IC Title ever.

Certainties: Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Bray Wyatt
Pretty likely: Dean Ambrose Cesaro
Those are the only ones that I see getting anywhere close to the title.

Since we're probably not going to see a brand split or even a WWE & World Title split, I doubt there are more than 3 or 4 NEW people who will hold the World Title over the next few years. Roman Reigns & Bray Wyatt seem likely. Barrett could do it if he doesn't get hurt again. I'd love to see Cesaro win it, but WWE doesn't seem to know what to do with him.
I doubt Ambrose will get it and I honestly doubt that Seth Rollins is 'big enough' for Vince to allow him to hold it. If the WWE Universe didn't force his hand, do you think Daniel Bryan or even CM Punk would have been given the title?
I'd like to see a Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight division created. There are a ton guys who will probably never hold the main title, but are awesome in the ring. They could also create something like the X-Division or just make the US Title for cruiserweights. Specifically, I thinking of many of the NXT guys like Sami Zayne and Adrian Neville, but there are a bunch of very talented, smaller guys on both rosters who will never hold the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

There have have only been 44 total WWE Champions... Oh yea, in no way do I think that all ten guys on my list will all be champions. I was just making a list of ten guys with the best chance to do so. Maybe I should've worded this differently.

Yes he does Yeah, I watched it in full. It was good, but not WWE title material. If someone like William Regal, Roddy Piper, Wade Barrett or Damien Sandow can't win it, why would he be able too?

If Barrett, Sandow, Wyatt or Ambrose would just win one WWE title, I wouldn't be so negative. Just one of the 4 will do.
