It's a shame the media refuses to acknowledge WWE when they are doing something positive.

Why would the media paint WWE in a positive light? That means they can't make them out to the devil of entertainment. Good on WWE for doing this though.

If they show them positively it makes the whole drug scandal from 2006/7 look irrelevant today and they don't want that since WWE is the Devil and Illuminati and everyone does steroids now...

Will they also be releasing gold Rise Above Cancer merchandise?

I saw on Huffington Post, in an article that Stephanie wrote, one of the commentators said that Connor should be given an honorary spot in the Hall of Fame. Seeing as how he has touched the lives of so many wrestling fans I for one wouldn't be opposed to this. Hell the kid is 1-0 over Triple H

It's nice that they're doing this, but eh I don't care much about it to be honest.

I'm glad that breast cancer gets all the positive attention it does. I'm glad that ALS is getting a lot of attention.
I'm glad WWE is giving pediatric cancer special attention. Helping other people is never a bad thing.

Connor deserves this, what a sweet innocent boy who lost his battle to a horrible disease, I hope they find a cure and good on WWE for supporting it!

Good for WWE for doing this. That video with Connor gets to me every time I watch it.

I think it's cool that they're venturing outside of the Breast Cancer realm. Every company does that, it's the "in" form of cancer, as horrible as that sounds. WWE has a close, personal connection with this disease because of Connor, and a pre-established history. It's a perfect idea.

Hell the kid is 1-0 over Triple H You know, after thinking about it for a moment, I fully support this idea. Next year, instead of a celebrity inductee, induct Connor. His story has touched so many that I doubt anyone would object the idea. Think of the incredibly heartwarming moment it would be to have Steph give the speech and they bring out Connor's family to accept. It would be a great way for his memory to live on.

This, except I'd have Bryan induct him, since he was Connor's hero.

The media probably still hates WWE for the whole Chris Benoit incident They hated WWE since before their name was WWE. The Federal steroid investigation didn't help either
