Be the first feud Rusev receives cheers in There's an interesting point IMO....a couple more months of Rusev beating "patriot of The Month" and Lana continuing the anti U.S.A. poison.....would Cena be booed? lets chew that one over? |

shoulda been Swagger Rusev sucks imagine the brilliance of rusev dominating for another year...unpinned - goes over show, cena, reigns even (winning the title from him, that reigns won from lesnar) rusev celebrates as champion and beats d-bry, sheamus....then swagger comes back for redemption & defeats him for the title *never ever, ever gonna happen...but it'd sure be fun to see it |

Cena did get booed against Angle while he was saying negative things about the troops and such if I remember correctly. |

I wouldn't mind seeing Ryback come back and make a big splash and take him out.
Angle would be mind-blowing.
But it will probably be Cena.

It should have been Swagger. Swagger is the most American in terms of gimmick. How else are you going to get this Rocky IV thing done? By having the American win. This similar to the Bryan/Orton feud of the last half of 2013, except there is no one to get behind like Bryan. You had a guy dominate every Black wrestler, then you had the perfect match-up for him and then blew it. I have 0% interest in Rusev. The only reason why I want to someone to stop him and to end is awful gimmick and hopefully relegate him down to Tensai status of being a fat dancer with some douche.
It has always confused me with these two...
You had Swagger and Zeb as heels, because of their Tea Party/anti-immigrant gimmick. Remember how they were heels because they were so anti-immigrant? Then they became faces because they were against the "right" foreigner? They didn't change what they did, they were just going against one everyone could agree with. Good jorb 'Murica.
Then you had Rusev without any advance notice, just show up as one of the participants of the Royal Rumble and not last terribly long, about seven minutes. Then a few weeks later, give him a proper debut as if we didn't see his luke warm debut at the Royal Rumble.

Swagger to me is talented enough to be a main event superstar. The one drawback everyone always put on him was his "lisp" ...which in itself is a shame because it shouldn't matter. but all the perfect humans who watch wrestling are of course in a position to be able to judge another. anyway... Swagger on the mic is good in small bursts...but the one thing he always needed was a manager. a mouthpiece of sorts, a guy who could sell him better than he could sell himself. Zeb is incredible, one of the best things to come around in awhile. He got a little repetitive during the Real Americans run but that's WWE's fault, because shitty writers. All you really need in wrestling is a way for the crowds to be excited when you come out. Most of the time that is a chant or a catchphrase that people can join with. Swagger's got it. He has the "gimmick" down pat, and on top of that he is REALLY good at WRESTLING. He's rarely sloppy, he has a good moveset, I don't feel like I'm watching the same exact match every week when he's in it. He's got the size. With a manager like Zeb he really is a complete package. Sadly, he  ed things up for himself by getting a DUI during his world title push. And that's HIS fault, not the WWE. If you're being made a star, just lay off the ing pot please. I doubt they will ever put Swagger in that spot again and it's not because of his lack of talent or marketability...it's because HE can't be trusted to do the right thing. |

I don't disagree with anything you said. I just really hate that the WWE has a double standard with whom they'll say can't be trusted. I understand he screwed up & won't be in that spot again, especially since he can't go with them to Canada, but Randy Orton was given 100 chances. I get that Orton wasn't "arrested," but he's been quite lucky about it & also what they rule as violations of company policy. It just irks me that it isn't about moral high ground, but getting caught by police/media scrutiny that causes them to lose faith in wrestlers. Question...even without Swagger's arrest, does his wife's past stop them from giving him that spot again? **Hope that is allowed, since I'm not discussing details & just want a yes/no** I just love Swagger's wrestling style & his size..the man looks like he could go play tight end in the NFL & be a pro bowler -- the new gimmick is really entertaining & I love Zeb too. He's really fun to root for since he was not suppose to do anything but get squashed by Rusev (at least it looked that way) & they rolled with a longer feud once they realized he's the new Sgt. Slaughter |

As soon as he beat mark henry I thought f*ck here comes john cena but I do kinda like the old school heel build just not a big fan of rusev

I have to agree with others in this thread and say Ryback! I think as a face, and with his stature, that is something the fans would really get behind.
