amazing. its hard to believe that i used to watch Steen & Zayn in front of 500 people at a college gym tearing the ing house down and now they are being sold as the biggest and brightest stars of the future in the WWE. so ing amazing and with the way NXT is run & handled (by HHH) the future really could be amazing. once we get away from the current way things are there is going to HAVE to be a change. Wrestling will be brought back to WRESTLING prowrestling.wikia.com/wiki/ROH_Age_of_InsanityI was at this show 6 years ago, it was held in a tiny building and the following 6 guys who competed that night are notable for some reason... Sami Callihan Kevin Steen Bryan Danielson Tyler Black Claudio Castagnoli El Generico I wonder where they are now?

How about more than half of them actually debut first? Never seen any of steen, devitt, or Kenta work. And will not buy into this ridiculous IWC hype until I see them in action for the WWE. Maybe you should do some research and check them out. YouTube is your friend.

Maybe you should do some research and check them out. YouTube is your friend. I don't want to see them in Indy matches. I wanna see them wrestling WWEs style of match. Very excited to see Hideo Itami wrestle tonight. Why, though? Why limit yourself to one style of wrestling? I despise the moronic indy fans who look down upon WWE style wrestling, because I honestly think you should be able to enjoy both for what they are. Give their indy work a try; at any rate, with the way guys like Bryan, Ambrose, Rollins, Zayn, Punk, and Cesaro have bought a different dynamic to the tradition WWE match style, indy matches aren't all that different, from, say, a WWE PPV main event match that gets 25-30 minutes. Trust me, man; you don't want to limit yourself to just one style of wrestling, not now at least. We're FINALLY getting to a point where the boundaries are being blurred and a hybrid is being formed between the major North American wrestling styles; it's good to give them a shot, get acquainted with them all now, and be excited for what they'll bring to the table. EDIT: On topic; this article is brilliant and just makes me smile wide. That is all.

Same reason I don't follow college sports. I'm in no means being close minded or anything. Just not enough time in a day.

This is truly amazing, the future looks very strong for the in-ring talent. Also think when you add guys like Breeze and the Ascension in along with up and coming divas like Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Bayley, NXT is stacked.

You also have to take into consideration that All these Indy guys no matter who they are have to learn the WWE style of wrestling there ALL gonna downgrade there wrestling skills so the less experience wrestlers could catch up to them.Take a look at the original sin cara I'm pretty sure he could wrestle but in the WWE he was nothing but a botch fest who constantly got injured he couldn't get the WWE style and now he's gone.

You know that's literally the opposite of how wrestling works, right? If anything, the more experienced guys will bring up the rookies to their level by getting in there with them. Now, if you mean they're going to "downgrade", as in employ a different psychology in their matches altogether as compared to the "Super-Indy/kickout fest" style, then you must be one of those morons who looks down on the WWE style as being somehow inferior to the indies. Do correct me if I'm wrong. As for Sin Cara; he botched mostly because of mis-communication that came about due to him having limited English skills, and because of not being accustomed to the North American style of wrestling at all. Lucha Libre - if you've watched it, you'll know this - does not have anywhere near the same concept of psychology that both the WWE and Indy style share. So of course that, coupled with him not having spent ANY time in developmental whatsoever, plus the aforementioned language barrier, all led to the way Cara turned out.

Very cool article. I'm super excited for them to be featured in NXT. I'm not sure if I can see all of them winning the big one in the WWE over the years, most likely not with Neville and Itami but I could see the other three potentially featuring on the high end of the card. NXT is looking great for the next year or so. I was a fan of Indy wrestling for years and years. Just not as invested anymore. Too much to follow all at once. Same reason I don't follow college sports. I'm in no means being close minded or anything. Just not enough time in a day. Fan of Indy Wrestling for "years and years" yet never seen a Kevin Steen match?

More than half of them have debuted though Zayn, Neville and now Itami all wrestle on WWE TV. NXT may be scaled down but they're still learning how to work the WWE style in front of a crowd that's taped. And on top of that, it's a better show than RAW is weekly

The last Indy guy that I had known prior to him coming into WWE was Jon Moxley. Didn't watch much ROH So you just watched CZW yet you deemed it as too much to keep up with? I really don't see your logic here, man. Enough of that crap, all the guys you said you hadn't seen are incredibly talented in their own ways and are treated as such. Steen is one of the best talkers on the independents scene and has been for years, the guy has been touted by Rock and Steve Austin as having the goods so there must be something there. Devitt and KENTA are different to Steen largely but nonetheless are two of the best wrestlers in the world with both being able to work multiple styles quite easily with a great sense of athleticism and skill.

I didn't get ROH on TV as a kid. I got HWA and CZW though. Regardless I'm curious to see these guys in a WWE style wrestling match. Kenta was cool. And I'm very excited to see the other two. But there's a line between buzz and just plain being over hyped. And even if all these guys end up being the future of the company . I feel ppl are getting very carried away as its way too early to tell.

It took him until "Team Hell No" for me to like him, hope these guys are as good as everyone says.

You make it sound as though these guys are raw athletes that have never stepped in the ring much less put on great matches, but all of them have. Prince Devitt and KENTA have been two big names in Japan and Kevin Steen is arguably one of the most well known Indy Wrestlers over the past few years due to him being in so many promotion and countries. Buzz is generally given to people that haven't totally proved themselves yet but have the ability to do so, like Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, these five guys have shown that they are already great in the ring and outside of it too.
