Now I gotta go watch this today because I don't remember it. Yeah for the life of me I can't remember who eliminated him( I wanna say it was Bradshaw or Faarooq). But whoever did heaved his ass out of the ring so hard. It tops London's elimination IMO because that Taka spot wasn't planned and he spent the night in the hospital. Dang, that sucks. I'd of been pretty irked if I were him in that case. No reason to be that rough.

Best: royal rumble 1990 hogan & warrior squaring off against each other. As a 9 year old I was flipping the ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) out. It's a very cherished child hood memory I have. At this time never in a million years did I think hogan and wArrior would fight. I was so pissed when hogan "accidentally" eliminated warrior. I wanted warrior to jump in that ring and kick his butt. Worst: royal rumble 1994 Bret and lex co winners as a kid I just could not figure out why they did not restart with lex and Bret in the ring.it still pisses me off to this day that Bret hart did not win that rumble.

Best - 2007 Rumble with Taker winning.
Worst - 2006 and 2004's winners. Also 2013 was terrible.

The best thing to ever come out of the Rumble is the poster for the 2001 edition of the show. Probably the best poster WWE have ever done. ![](http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51FGQ645N4L.jpg) Oh, and Mae Young. ![](http://www.wwenews.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Mae-Young-Miss-Royal-Rumble-2000.jpg)

Best:
- Mick Foley entering three times in 1998 - The 2013 rumble. The whole thing. Even with Cena's predictable win it was easily the best rumble in the last five years. Possibly best in the last ten years. - Sheamus winning in 2012 - Rob Van Dam's surprise return in 2009 - Jerry Lawler's continued reactions to Taka's elimination in 2000
Worst:
- The 2011 rumble. Love the concept of a 40 man rumble, but this was poorly executed. The roster didn't have the depth for it and they only had two surprise returns. It could have easily been 30 men and they could have cut out a few of the more pointless entrants while still fitting in all of Nexus and the Corre. The only fun part of the whole thing was Santino at the end.

For me the best was when Ax and Smash came out at numbers 1 and 2. As a kid I saw this and it blew my mind. It just cemented in my young mind that Demolition was just a pair of badasses. They did not wait for number 3, they just went at it. To me that was such a sign of how tough they were.
And the all time worst Rumble moment is the entire 1999 Royal Rumble match. All the 1999 rumble did was become a long comedy segment. They would cut away form the Rumble match to show us what Vince and Austin were doing backstage. It really just belittled and diminished what the Rumble is supposed to be. And then at the end instead of getting a winner to make a guy into a top star we got an ego trip in which Vince won. This Rumble resembled a Raw segment and not a Rumble match. And instead of promoting a wrestler or advancing a story line it's just something Vince did so that he can look back and say he won a Royal Rumble.

Best Kevin Nash's surprise entrants in 2011 & 2014 Road Dogg's return in 2012 Ambrose attempting to eliminate Reigns this past year Austin elimination everyone only to have Bret Hart enter at #21 and have them 2 go at it Mick Foley's 3 entrances in one year
Worst Bret & Luger co winners in 1994 Batista winning in 2014 Rey Mysterio in 2014, I felt bad for him, it wasn't his fault

Worst: Cena winning in '13. Mysterio entering at #30 last year.

Cena winning in 2013 was a low point for me too......often RR outcomes have been heavily telegraphed due to storylines but the world and their mother knew Cena was winning this and it showed.

I'm not the biggest Ryback supporter but he made the most sense. He lost to Punk for obvious reasons but was still hot. Yea, he had his issues with The Shield but you keep the World Title on Big Show heading into WrestleMania 29 and you have Ryback win the Rumble. Ryback beats Big Show and Shell Shocks him for a Mania moment. New Champion and a made star. John Cena loses the Rumble, Punk retains at Rumble by cheating leading to Punk/Rock/Cena as the Mania main event. You keep "Once in a Lifetime" special, get the Mania buyrate that Rock brings, Punk is kept happy as he gets to main event a WrestleMania and Cena overcomes the ultimate odds. Boom.

Rock needs to beat Punk. Punk keeping the title against Rock defeats the whole point, which was to make Cena go over Rock when no one else could. You can add Punk in, but he needs to have dropped the title first. As for Ryback winning the Rumble, him then deciding to face Show rather than Punk would have been ridiculous. By WM29 it was clear what the main title was, having Cena lose the Rumble and then Ryback conveniently going for the other belt would have been awful. They could have at least had Cena beat Ryback later on to win his WM ME spot and then Ryback could have gone after Show instead. They could have opened up with Rock pinning Punk, then #30 in the Rumble is Punk and he eliminates Cena to win the Rumble. Cena beats Punk at EC to get into the WM main event (Rock doesn't need to wrestle; if he does maybe have him face Orton or someone, I would have liked to see that; alternatively Jericho and Rock always had great chemistry and could make something out of nothing quickly at EC) and then Cena pins Rock clean at WM. Any scenario here needs Rock to be the champ going into WM and Cena pinning him clean, because that was the whole point of the story.

Any scenario here needs Rock to be the champ going into WM and Cena pinning him clean, because that was the whole point of the story. They've done it before where someone wins the Rumble and chooses the less prestigious title, so that's not an issue. I get that Rock/Cena had that story, but it was dumb to begin with. Bill it as "Once in a Lifetime" and then TOTALLY telegraph that it's happening again? Dumb. Instead, you can have Cena overcome the two biggest obstacles that he's ever faced. The two guys he couldn't beat. I don't know, this version would've made me enjoy WrestleMania 29 a lot more. Maybe that's just me.
