I go to a minimum seven different stores in my area on a weekly basis. All Non-Mattel figures (Basic, Elite, Battle Packs) are often in the exact same configuration and placement as it was when I was there last. But you're right! What was I thinking? Your findings from the whopping 7 stores you go to (presumably within, what, a 20 mile radius) is not the worldwide statistical data that a company compiles and bases its development plans on. But no, you're right. If the 31" figs don't sell in your small town, then stop producing them even if they're hot sellers everywhere else in the world. According to Google Maps, the southern most Toys R Us I go to and the northern most Target I go to is 57.2 miles door-to-door (those are the ones I hit on average). Mind you I also said "minimum" and you said "whopping" about the amount of stores I visit, don't imply something that isn't true. Also, I'm in the New York Metro area where I hit half my weekly stores and see half of this non-selling junk, its hardly "small town" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_metropolitan_area One of the Targets is in the 11th largest shopping mall in the USA. Needless to say, I certainly visit in a very prime area, and at high traffic areas. But you're right, I visit a couple small stores in a short distance in the backwoods country.

If you're talking about the palisades center target I'm lot impressed (surprised it's fallen to 11th largest mall. Remember when it was 2nd) I was born and raised in nyack. If you're checking that target, you're probably also going to the nanuet tru and the suffern Walmart. I know rockland like the back of my hand. I'm telling you that your seven stores is not even a small cross section. You're obviously not even extending your search into NYC because when I lived in the Bronx there were 3 separate trus and two k marts I'd check weekly. That was just one borough. Another two trus in westchester. One in Manhattan. Two k Marts in Manhattan. The target in Spanish Harlem. I could go on and on. But even that doesn't constitute scientic research of sales. You get the point. Wct knows exactly what their sales are, and if they were as bad as you say, they'd stop production and cut their losses. I also used to check route 17 and route 4 in jersey at the two trus and two k marts. You should check all the places I've mentioned. You'll notice no two are the same in terms of what they stock and what sells.

And my close friend can verify all the ones he visits weekly in the Bronx and Westchester and sends me photos of. Likewise I can verify with photos all the ones from Paramus to Poughkeepsie (even up to Kingston) that I visit and every one in-between. The initial comment I made was that I see the same stuff over and over in the same positions and it doesn't move. Those 31" figures aren't a year old (I don't think?), but I hardly see them moving if at all. The K-Marts I visit have those microphones moving at a snails pace, if at all. I stand by what I said. And yes, I remember when the Palisades was #2, 1998 was a good year.

Actually, in your initial comment you stated that you check all of 7 whole stores (now you're trying to claim you go to more than seven but that's actually besides the point) and that based on what you've observed at those 7 stores, wct should close its doors forever, throw in the towel and never manufacture another wrestling toy. That's what you're standing by. It's one of the least intelligent things I've ever read, but feel free to stand by it all day.

That's what you're standing by. It's one of the least intelligent things I've ever read, but feel free to stand by it all day. Here's what you're misquoting me on, these are quotes from earlier in the thread that you didn't comprehend or misread: I say I want them to make the cages, but nothing else from what was shown, given the context of the thread. Yep, that's me saying they should give in and close their doors. I think the ASR is fantastic and any accessories for it, the other stuff though, not so much. I put in bold the word you skipped twice now. By me saying minimum, its the least amount of stores I go to in a given week. Also, its not the total amount of stores I go to, as much as you try to change the meaning of the word, it wont work. Minimum does not count for, as you say, "all of 7 whole stores" or "the whopping 7 stores." And if me standing by my comments I made and will own up to, that a company who makes stuff I personally and literally do not see selling very well in all the stores I go to is considered the least intelligent thing you've ever read, then please let me be the first to say it is such a privilege and an honor bestowed upon me to be in the presence of such an intellectual as yourself. I feel weak in the knees, oh my, I'm so nervous. So far in this thread, I shared my opinion and you didn't like it. I told you what I see with my own eyes and you refuted it. Then you made a wrong assumption about my area and distance, and found out we're close by (that's kinda cool) and I cleared up the facts about the area, stores, and distances I travel (reminder: its not small town and its not ONLY 7 stores.) All of that still wasn't good enough because you are still trying to prove my opinion wrong and are trying to twist and make everything literal. I never said that I only visit 7 stores and think my 7 stores are so special that they count for the entire United States, stop that. Do you even know how to debate right, especially when its off of someone's opinion? (No.)

The classic cage comes with a wrestlefest apron!!!! I almost want it just for that... Of course, I don't have the ring, so I'm not sure what I'd do with all that stuff, but it's still very tempting. I'm sure I could figure out a way to make it part of my display.

Some other WCT pie-in-sky set ideas: WWF Hell in the Cell w/ KotR '98 and In Your House '97 aprons WCW War Games half cage w/ Fall Brawl and World War 3 aprons WCW Triple Cage w/ Slamboree and Halloween Havoc aprons WCW target mat w/ blue posts/ropes/yellow turnbuckle covers, WCW logo apron, royal blue mats, silver guardrails WCW Nitro/Thunder aprons/mats/posts/ropes/red turnbuckle covers ECW scaffolding set NXT add ons with Shotgun Saturday Night aprons Also, I know the cage is true to Wrestlemania 2, but the one I remember most was a little bigger. If they could do a 2nd version with a Summerslam and generic early 90s WWF apron, that would be cool.

I'll probably get both cages. How awesome is it to get the ring Apron from the wrestlefest event where Curt Henning fought Terry Taylor before the Perfect gimmick

If they make an Elimination Chamber, I want a Survivor Series 2002 ring apron with it.

I will no doubt buy that classic blue cage and ring! I bet The Warsman is loving that Wrestlefest skirt!! Absolutely! I really hope 3rd party merchandise takes off, as Mattel can't (or won't) do it all alone! That cage and new skirt look great, a definite purchase! Wars

Just a thought are they going to just put "the cel"l on the ring skirt if they make the hell in a cell play set? That current day steel cage will be mine.
