Hey all
I have a NASTY ringing in my ear that i believe was caused by eating a chocolate bar. It's happened before but the ringing right now is maddening.
Does anyone have any tips on what to do to get rid of it?
Much appreciated.

I get ringing sometimes. Start doing something to get your mind off it. If it doesnt go away, maybe ask a doctor.

Your equilibrium is off. My dad had this issue. I can't remember the medical term for it.

Like 10-20 minutes after eating a candy bar, one ear starts screaming Things that contain caffeine like coffee or soda can cause ringing in the ear. Taking things like aspirin or tylenol may even cause this. It's just driving me bonkers

Tinnitus? I've had it before and it felt horrible. Wasn't anything major though, I bought an ear cleaning liquid thingy and the sound was gone in a couple of days.

Lol... Sorry for your misfortune, but that's crazy and kinda funny.
My ears rang for 3 days after the Jack White concert. Totally worth it.

Your equilibrium is off. My dad had this issue. I can't remember the medical term for it. The term is VERTIGO. The O.P. could try to put some water in your ear, the one that is ringing, and then quickly tilt your head so that the water flushes out of your ear. That or Google Taos Hum.

I've had constant ringing in my ears for years and years. Gets so bad I can't sleep at night sometimes.
Prolly gonna eat someone's face because of it at some point.

You have to lubricate the ball bearings in your ear.

Sounds like you've been sniffing bath salts for breakfast. Well yeah, but I don't think that makes my ears ring. Probably explains why I ate that package of raw meat yesterday, but, hey, who's asking.
