Quick question for everyone. What is it about Sin Cara that makes it sell out on RSC? It seems like every time they put one out it sells out. I have never been blown away by him as a performer. To me he is just a mediocre luchador in the ring. My local Wal Mart has a elite one that came in the Bruno set. I must admit it is pretty cool looking but I don't like him enough to justify the buy since I am a flashback/ legends collector along with CM Punk and the Wyatts in my collection. The new elite 32 is already gone. So back to my question what makes him so popular?

Kids like him because he wears a mask.

Like Rey Mysterio. His different color patterns look cool next to each other on display.

I'd personally wish him the best in his future endeavors. Waste if programming time. The mask thing is true for kids but I'm at a loss why adults like him unless they enjoy mediocrity. Aside from his debut I'm not sure why the others sell out either.

His figures are usually pretty awesome and I never ever see them clogging shelves so they must be pretty popular.

I just really like his figures, so I have one of each color, and I think they look awesome displayed together. We all know the character didn't do as well as it was supposed to, but I do think Hunico is better and teaming with Kalisto may help. WWE clearly hasn't given up on it yet.

I was in TRU one day and a kid saw e25 and was like " Super Sin Cara!" Pro wrestlers are like super hero types to kids. Which is why black trunk dudes rot away while cool looking gimmicks move figures.
No offense to Warrior fans, but he wasnt the best in ring either, but his figures always look great.

I'm not a fan of his either but I've owned all of his elites at one point and now I still have a decent amount of his figures. He's just really cool looking. Plus it's Hunico now and him i like a lot more than the original.

He displays really well. Lot of cool colors that really pop on a shelf. Hate the wrestler, love the figure.

Now that we are on the topic of Sin Cara, besides the tattoos, is the new Elite 32 Cara the same as the previous ones or did they change the body type or maybe just adjusted the height?

He appears to be identical as far as the body mold used. To clarify, I am in the camp of those who hate the guy as a wrestler but like the figures fine. I have all the elites.

I think New Cara is a solid wrestler... I don't own any of the figures but they are more impressive looking than 2/3 the figures we get.

His gear is always really vibrant and colourful, and it always stands out. And also, I, and many children, enjoy him because he is a luchadore.

My son thinks he's aligned with the Power Rangers..... and my son thinks he's awesome.
The colorful outfits, the mask, it's the same reason Rey Mysterio is put into every other set (even though he's been largely inactive for over 3 years).
I'm pretty impartial, the original Sin Cara had several awesome matches with Antonio Cesaro on Main Event - the "new" Sin Cara doesn't really do anything for me, but I don't hate him....
