I won't get into the MK line until they release some more characters even then I still believe Bandai Figuarts will take on the MK series down the line as it was on their poll list 3 years ago and so was TMNT and now they're making TMNT figures.

I remember seeing that too. I like the Scale Bandai's figures come out so I'll probably do the same.

Interesting, I don't remember hearing that before. Storm Collectables line looks great but I'm sure Figuarts would do a great job too. Though again I'd only be interested in classic versions of characters (original trilogy games only).

Maybe one of you guys can clear up sone confusion for me. I was told that Storm doesn't have the "master lisence" for MK in North America. Has there been any indication from Mezco about continuing their series if that is true? I'm down for the Storm versions ,but I'd still like to see Mezco continue their line as well.

Storm doesn't have the master license. Meaning they can't have major distribution to the US. There are certain sites you can obtain these figures. I think its due to Mezco having the license. This would be the same case if Tamashii gets the license. It would be a Japanese exclusive with limited US distribution. Which really means nothing. Because even a few "Japanese exclusives" made their way to Barnes and Noble.

Namely FYE and their sister retailers such as Coconuts. So, it seems what you said about their deal shouldn't/ won't affect Mezco from continuing their line. But they've been kind of tight lipped concerning any future waves. I'm hoping for a third series myself, especially if the recent info on the Storm figures have them listed at 7". I certainly want the Storm figures to go with some of the 7" scale figures i have, but I'm wanting to continue the main 6" scale for the bulk of what Jazwares and Mezco have already produced.

Man, I'd be so stoked to see Mezco finally give us a Sonya, Sektor/Cyrax , Millena, Rain, Ermac, Kabal. Pretty much anyone that isn't brand new to the MK X game. I know if they did continue they'll probably give us Cassie Cage or someone like that. I wouldn't be to interested in owning. But if they do it right I would definitely go and buy Kotal Kahn then.

Guys I keep looking at the Jazwares Goro figure and want it sooo freaking bad. If anyone has it/one in good condition I'd seriously trade a bunch of figures for it. All 4 Classic Collections Ninja Turtles, BAF Green Goblin, Constable Zuvio and DCUC Aquaman. I just wanna know I have my own 'komplete' collection. I only collect one of each character that's why I put komplete in quotes. Let me know though guys, it'd be a dream come true to finally get one in great condition.

While ML searching at Walgreens, i came across wave 1 of the Mezco series. Scorpion was gone already but i did pick up Raiden and Sub Zero. Unfortunately, the Raidens hand snapped off and the peg is permanently stuck in his arm. So, rather than have a handless Raiden ,i had to super glue the bastard in. So ,i was not too happy there. The Sub Zero offered me no such trouble however, and its currently one of my favorite figures. I'm gonna scour a few more Walgreens for that Scorpion and hopefully hit up a TRU for series 2 soon. I just hope Mezco brings out a 3rd series somehow.

Although, Storm Collectibles might finally be the ones to do it...

My issue with them though is solicitations have them listed at 7" scale. I know they were originally touted as 6". I'd like to blend them with the existing figures, but if they are at 7" ,they will be more Neca scale. Which is alright since i have plenty of their products, but I'd like to pose the MK stuff with DC/Marvel stuff too. Same goes for the Street Fighter figures when Storm does those. Ultimately I'll have to wait for in hand pics to see if they will justify the pretty hefty price tag these will be carrying.

Yeah I'm kind of annoyed with the whole 7 inch scale thing. 6 inches was the always the standard. I guess NECA wanted to be different. Their Ultimate Series figures are amazing. But yeah they're basically out of scale with all older generation figures.

It's sure a mystery at why companies are having issues producing proper Mortal Kombat figures. They are some of the coolest and most stylistic characters I've ever experienced.
Creating them in action figure form would be a fun experience.

As much as I want that Goro, I hate Ninja Turtles lol. I only bought these cause the deal I got on 'em. I'll keep my eyes open because that Goro has eluded me soooo hard. I'll get back to you if I find the ones you mentioned. Thanks for semi dragging me back in the hunt lol.

Storm Collectables Shao Kahn is going to be shown at SDCC! Teaser pic on their facebook page www.facebook.com/stormcollectiblesMan it looks incredible. I just hope the line does well enough for them to make loads of classic characters and not just a small selection.

When are the storm collectibles hitting stores? I really want the Scorpion and might grab a sub-zero too. They keep saying they're only going to be released in Asia, but I've also heard people saying they will probably get US distribution by Bluefin. So who knows. Personally I'm not risking missing them so have preordered both on BB Toystore. I'd rather use Amazon but they're not taking preorders so perhaps aren't getting them. These figures look amazing but unfortunately trying to get info from Storm Collectables is like talking to a brick wall. They never ever seem to answer fan posts or questions for some reason. I've tried emailing them a couple of times too, just asking for more info, both times I got no reply whatsoever.
