When are the storm collectibles hitting stores? I really want the Scorpion and might grab a sub-zero too. They keep saying they're only going to be released in Asia, but I've also heard people saying they will probably get US distribution by Bluefin. So who knows. Personally I'm not risking missing them so have preordered both on BB Toystore. I'd rather use Amazon but they're not taking preorders so perhaps aren't getting them. These figures look amazing but unfortunately trying to get info from Storm Collectables is like talking to a brick wall. They never ever seem to answer fan posts or questions for some reason. I've tried emailing them a couple of times too, just asking for more info, both times I got no reply whatsoever. Yeah man fantastic figures! 50 dollars though, plus shipping :/ Hey, at least these are bigger than figuarts and I'm alright with "7 inch scale. I was looking at scorpions fatality head and is it me or is the head a little on the small side?

I wasn't too impressed with storm collectibles mainly Scorpion and Sub Zero, but man after seeing their new Shao Kahn figure, I'll probably have to start collecting these guys. Very badass looking figure!!

Mezco's 4" line is apparently hitting TRU now. May pass these up. Just depends on if I'm in the mood to shell out the cash. Focusing on my Marvel stuff lately.
Damn though, that Shao Kahn is gorgeous!

I haven't seen the 4 inch ones yet.

I saw the 4 inch MK X figures in a local comic store recently. My only thought was how ridiculous the price was, they were about £20 each (equivalent of around $25 for you americans)
Still I'd happily pay a high price for classic 6-inch MK figures, I just hope the Storm Collectibles ones are as good in hand as they look, and that the line lasts long enough to get most or all of the original trilogy characters.

God that looks awesome, I want these but I would just love to know who/how many characters are actually gonna be made. If someone told me that everyone from MK 1 is getting a figure I would buy these in a heartbeat.

God that looks awesome, I want these but I would just love to know who/how many characters are actually gonna be made. If someone told me that everyone from MK 1 is getting a figure I would buy these in a heartbeat. Yeh I mean as long as the quality is as decent in-hand as it looks in the photos, I'm behind this line 100% and will support it as much as I can (as I said I plan to buy around 10 Scorpions for customs, probably at least 2 Goros, etc). But I certainly understand where you're coming from and am sure many other MK fans feel the same way. There have been so many lacklustre MK figure lines in the past so it's no surprise people are reluctant to drop big money on these when they could easily just do the usual dozen or half-dozen characters and give up. And Storm Collectibles refusal to really communicate with the fans isn't helping. OK they post stuff on facebook, but I mean they never answer questions or queries. And the line is progressing a lot slower than I feel is wise too. Once the first couple come out I really hope they step things up so we can get more than like 2 figures a year or whatever. Personally I want them to cover at least all the playable characters from the original trilogy (MK1,MK2,MK3,UMK3,MKT) including bosses and secret characters, and ideally all the background characters (e.g. Shadow Priest, Masked Guard etc), established rumor characters (e.g. Nimbus Terrafaux, Hornbuckle etc) and a select few of from later games too (e.g. Fujin, Quan Chi). But at this point I'm not that optimistic, mostly because of the slow speed of the line so far. I really really hope I am wrong though. I also really hope the "special edition" Scorpion and Sub-Zero is a lot more than the blood spattered prototypes we saw briefly a few months back. Though they weren't labelled as being the special editions so I'm hoping they were just a fun thing to add to the show display. Blood spattered is not particularly interesting to me or worth the extra $25 they're charging. Come on Storm, use your imagination. Scorpion could have a swappable human form head instead of a skull for one example. Or a masked head with eyes to represent his Shirai Ryu days before his death. Or a skull mask like in his MK3 portrait. Sub-Zero could have an unmasked head. Different energy effects, etc. They could even throw an Ermac repaint in there randomly just to mess with everyone since the original Ermac rumor showed a red colored Scorpion. There's so much potential and I am gonna be so disappointed if blood spattered is all they can be bothered to think of. Obviously for those that are following the line, we know Goro is next, followed by Shao Kahn. Personally my top wants to get next would be a female ninja and a cyborg ninja in terms of regular size characters, and Motaro and Sheeva in terms of larger characters. Mainly because if we get a female ninja and a cyborg ninja, I can customize loads more characters from those bases, should the line happen to perish. And Motaro and Sheeva because again if the line died, they would be really hard to customize due to their non-human shapes. Obviously most of the other original trilogy characters are generally humanoid so are less of a priority to me, and Kintaro is pretty similar shaped to Goro so he'd be slightly lower on priorities too. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to have to make any customs and I hope we get official Storm figures of everyone. But I'm just trying to plan how I can maximize my display if we don't get everyone.

That figure breaks my heart because it will most likely be sold on Ebay at a rip off price.

^^That was impressive, it looks like he can stand on one leg without support. Not to get off topic, but I recently saw new pictures of Storm's Street Fighter RYU. The paint apps looked really downgraded from the older promo pictures. He went from looking very realistic to cartoonish.

Its possible that this may be the best 6 inch figure on the market today. Thanks for sharing, wow that looks amazing. I am so happy the first figure is (so far) living up to expectations. Can't wait to get mine, my only worry is how devestating it will be if the line dies before they get chance to cover lots (or ideally all!) the great characters of the MK universe, because the characters are the core reason of why I love MK so much as a franchise.

Sub Zero is next. I'm excited to see how Goro turns out.I know his price will be up there since he is "deluxe". I'll get on the wagon in hopes for Cyrax.

The Storm Collectibles line looks incredible. But that price tag is hardcore. The figure is quality, but that's really steep. And it stands to reason Goro and Shao Kahn (if they get made) will probably be double what the standard figures cost.
That being said, I'll more than likely get Scorpion. I'm just so reluctant about investing into another Mortal Kombat line because they always get cancelled before they can make all the fighters I really care for.
But this is the first MK line where the figures aren't absolutely shyt. So there's that.

Finally found a Goro for a decent price under 100. In a beautiful MOC box too. I dunno if it'll stay like that long but overall very happy. We'll see how things go this week and maybe I'll buy Kotal too to finish off getting at least one of every 6 inch character made.
