Finally found a version of the Spawn release. Picked him up the other day. Gonna go ahead and start grabbing the others in the McFarlane line now since they're all semi easy to find around here.

Got my Kitana and Baraka McF figs from Amazon. Kitanas heels are WAYYYYY too short, and standing her is a pain in the ass. Baraka is solid though.
I’ve never been a big MK fan and mostly loved the character concepts and looks more than actually playing the games, but — I’m really digging this line, and looking forward to Shao Kahn and Liu Kang.
So far I’d have to rank em:
Spawn Johnny Cage Baraka Raiden Scorpion Sub-Zero Kitana

I'm not surprised to see you rank Scorpion and Sub-Zero so low. They aren't up to standards for this line. McFarlane is definitely showing improvement (MK and DC figures) with each new wave, so I'd like to see those two revisited at some point. Looking at that Spawn figure, I can't believe it's from the same line. It's lightyears ahead.

Todd will always spoil his baby so Spawn doesn’t surprise me. Johnny I love how they make soft goods work with plastic. Baraka is perfect to me other than the mouth. Would have preferred a jaw that can open and Kitanas heels REALLY kill her figure for me. Raiden would probably be my favorite of the line, if it weren’t for the wardrobe. That’s not on McF though. If I had more interest in the IP? I’d probably vastly prefer Storm, but — these are more than good enough for me. Personally? I’d rather get Double Dragon and Battle Toads IPs in this scale. But that’s besides the point.

McFarlane is pumping out the variants with the MK line. Most are kinda meh (like the purple Sub-Zero, for example) but the new "black" Scorpion and red, white, and blue Raiden look pretty good.

I got a chance to look at Kitana in person the other day. I’ll pick her up for sure, I like her MK11 look and the McFarlane line has improved quite a bit since the first wave.
I also got my Storm Raiden. I had to swap the belt out because the one on the figure felt fragile and seemed like it could break. Wound up running a wire through a black strap from one of my many Covid masks and now the belt is actually able to be posed too, if you have him doing some aerial moves or something. I dig it.

I picked up the UMK3 Sub Zero over the weekend. This is my first Storm figure and I have to say, I'm impressed. The only complaint I have is the lower mask pops off really easily. I'm thinking of just gluing it on.
I have the McFarlane Scorpion and it's really nice also. I think going forward I'm going to pick up the Storm versions of guys I really like, and the McFarlane versions of characters that aren't as important to me.
I also recently ordered the Storm cyborgs through the BlueFin bundle deal.

I've considered getting Sub-Zero multiple times, but that's opening a can of worms, so...

I got my cyborgs in yesterday. I thought Cyrax was going to be my favorite, but Sektor ended up being the best to me. Smoke is in the middle.

That MK11 Baraka figure is great. I have the Storm MK2 one so I'm good on having a Baraka for right now but I don't know that I'd be able to easily pass that figure up if I found it at Walmart.

Full gallery of MK3 Unmasked Sub-Zero: news.toyark.com/2020/11/17/mortal-kombat-unmasked-sub-zero-by-storm-collectibles-410356As I noted earlier in the year, this has a new, more generic-looking headsculpt than the original prototype (which had a likeness to actor John Turk). The bad news is that Storm is seemingly not willing to pay licensing rights to use actor likenesses. However the good news is that now they've settled on their strategy, the other previously shown prototypes (Johnny Cage, Kitana, Liu Kang, Mileena), which were almost certainly put on hold because of likeness issues, should presumably now be back on the schedule. While personally I am disappointed they aren't using actor likenesses, still the most important thing is that the figures and new characters keep coming. And hopefully we can, slowly but steadily, keep moving towards a comprehensive classic roster.

That Sub-Zero is awesome, and the ice covering to do his fatality is incredible. It's one of my all-time favorite MK fatalities. Such a cool idea.

Picked up McFarlane's Baraka figure! Really nice, love the sculpt. Liked it so much I ordered Kitana, the Scorpion and Raiden 2-pack and Bloody Sub-Zero! Should be here soon. Anyone have a couple of this line next to a few NECA figures? Would love to grab Guest Characters as well! http://instagram.com/p/CHsuC6ugbe2

My fingers are crossed we get an actual MK11 Version since McFarlane has both lines. The DC line version is my back up plan atm 🙂.

Purple Sub Zero and Black Scorpion? Isnt that Rain and Noob Saibot? If McFarlane is going to release all these repaints, he shouldve made a Klassic ninja mold and release Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Rain, Smoke, Ermac, Noob Saibot, Chameleon and Tremor out of it.

Agreed 1000%. It's like he's trying some backdoor method, but it doesn't work now because the characters have all developed such unique looks. A purple Sub-Zero doesn't work for Rain anymore, and the result doesn't look cool now for either. I don't know why he hasn't done classic looks unless it's because Storm has those rights (which seems likely to me). I'd love affordable classic looks from McFarlane, though.

I kinda dig the idea after playing the MK11 Story Mode. :-) Also, the Scorpion/Raiden pack did come out great. Haven't opened them but really like the look of both. Very tempting not to open. Edit* Speaking of variants! http://instagram.com/p/CIRLAWmHjxX

I hate to be too critical, but there's not much good going on there as far as I can see. Shame, too, because for me he's the hero of MK. It's like screwing up Superman in a Justice League line. You GOTTA get him right (although I know others might disagree on his status these days).
