The Kung Lao looks amazing. Storm is really on their game with their video game figures. I wish these things were in stores. Are they not available in US stores? I'm from the UK and we've never got MK stuff.

I'm from the UK and we've never got MK stuff. Not in retail stores like Target or Walmart. I don't even know if stores like FYE in the mall (if they still exist) or Think Geek carry/carried them. Gamestop is the only place I can think of that might, but I know I've never seen them there. I understand why (the price), but I guarantee if I saw one in person and held it in my hands, I'd have some in my collection.

I've seen one or two at ThinkGeek/GameStop, ironically it was the NYCC Rain and Smoke. I think they had a deal where they could get the con stuff after the fact. As for Kung Lao, I preordered on Big Bad earlier. I'm loving how he looks!

I got Motaro the other day. It's really nice, the skeleton is a lot of fun too.

I got my McFarlane Shao Kahn preorder in yesterday. It's alright, the articulation isn't the best . He fits in decently well with the Storm stuff, but I wish I had the Storm Kahn instead.

My feelings exactly. It's a nice figure. He looks like a badass. But it's something about those storm figures. I missed him, reptile and noob. And of course those 3 soared in price.

I got the McFarlane Liu Kang and Shao Kahn last night. I like both, Liu Kang is better IMO. Kahn is nice, but it's like they forgot to paint the calves and feet. His shoes/straps and skin are all one color, which doesn't match up with the rest of the figure.
I'm gonna grab a set of nunchucks from one of my movie TMNT Foot Ninjas and give them to Liu Kang, the ones he comes with aren't great

I hope they keep making these.

I must have been under a rock but I just discovered the Diamond Select releases. I'm going back to get them but I'm passing on Scorpion for now.

Anyone here still have the Shaolin Monks wave of Jazwares figures from 2005? I still think those are one of if not the best figures of Scorpion and Sub Zero to this day, even if Scorpion's colors are wrong.

Almost hits the same nostalgia as the GI Joe Mortal kombat figures from the 90s for me. I made a little video history of the Jazwares MK line if you want to check it out!

I have watched your videos on a few occasions. Most notably this one as of late. Still frustrates me they never released the Shaolin Monks Raiden or Kintaro. Likewise, it sucks they didn't make those"through the years" 3 packs of Scorpion and Sub Zero. Would have gave us rereleases of the Shaolin Monks figures making them a little easier to get again!

Sadly I was only 9 then. Wow really? Here in the UK we never got MK stuff and always had to pay more than full retail online.
