My regret personally is not buying multiple when they were available at retail for $6! Sadly I was only 9 then. Wow really? Here in the UK we never got MK stuff and always had to pay more than full retail online. Yep. KB Toys was the golden age of action figures for me. I remember collecting the Jazwares Mortal Kombat line, Jakks WWE, Toybiz TNA and Marvel Legends... I miss those days. On a random note, has anyone found a good head to use for a custom unmasked Sub Zero? I'd want something that captures John Turk's likeness, but his facial features are so unique that nothing really matches up quite right. |

To this day still my favorite MK line. Almost hits the same nostalgia as the GI Joe Mortal kombat figures from the 90s for me. I made a little video history of the Jazwares MK line if you want to check it out! I have watched your videos on a few occasions. Most notably this one as of late. Still frustrates me they never released the Shaolin Monks Raiden or Kintaro. Likewise, it sucks they didn't make those"through the years" 3 packs of Scorpion and Sub Zero. Would have gave us rereleases of the Shaolin Monks figures making them a little easier to get again! I've made peace that only Storm's going to attempt the early MK roster figures.. But I really hope another toy company tries Shaolin Monks. Outside of the original 2-3 games, Shaolin Monks holds a special place in my heart. Not getting a full roster of figures from Jazwares is tragic. If only we could talk Jeremy into getting the MK line again with Jazwares for a third run  Thanks for watching and enjoying the videos! I haven't posted much on the channel as of late, but mostly because the projects I've been working on are so dang lengthy. Nothing MK related, unless you count Superman as MK related? Literally every Superman figure in the 90s, coming soon.. |

Just got my first set of Scorpion and Sub Zero in the mail. I want to get a couple more sets to do some customs as well, most notably correcting Scorpion's incorrect color scheme.

You have a really good assortment here. I remember the times I tried to collect 1 of each character across the lines, but both times I ended up stopping. Right now, I only have the Shaolin Monks Scorpion and Sub Zero figures (sealed, but may open) and plan to get a couple more plus some other standouts like Mezco Raiden and Shaolin Monks Reptile (I really want to customize it into his 2p costume!) Other than that, I'm interested in making a couple of customs based on their classic look; something akin to the Infinite Concepts figures. So far I've only made mock ups of different builds. I'm curious to hear what your all-time favorite MK figure is. Mine is easily Shaolin Monks Sub Zero. Scorpion is a very close second, but his incorrect colors kind of hold it back. (something I plan to correct when I get some extras) |

I meant I had the individual series 2 figures (Sub Zero on regular card and Scorpion on green card), but I definitely want the Hot Topic exclusive set. I would also want to swap out the Scorpion for a custom of the intro cutscene attire (modified Sub Zero body with Scorpion belt, arm guards, and waist cloth) to match with the render image on the box. I agree about Kintaro and the Raiden even. With him being my original favorite character in the series, I feel like it would have been just as great as the rest of that particular series! Easily better than the Deception version. I just finished making a mock up for the human Shaolin Monks Reptile figure idea! |

I know they couldn't use the likeness from the game actor without paying him, but the unmasked head desperately needs improving. It doesn't look anything like what Sub-Zero should look like. |
