I'll keep my eyes open for Kitana and Quan Chi, Raiden is still shelf warming over here, I love the Scorpion and Sub-Zero though. I'd like to only get the classic characters but if I see Kotal Kahn in person I might pick him up.

I'm just now discovering these classic figures. They'll be perfect for my video game shelf.

I am so impressed with these Storm Collectables figures and such a huge fan of classic MK, personally I'm hoping to see EVERY character from MK1,MK2,MK3,UMK3,MKT plus a few from MKM and other games too. I'd even buy background characters like Masked Guards and Shadow Priests, characters only seen in the comics like Master Wu and Gorbak, concept characters like Rokuro, and fake/rumor characters like Nimbus Terrafaux and Aqua.

So like I predicted from the start, Mezco have just proved they're barely any better at Jazwares at doing MK figures.
You'd think almost 25 years after MK1 was released we would have a high-quality figure line representing the bulk of the characters.
Of course they'll blame the collectors and the market though. Couldn't be anything to do with them barely making any characters, only doing modern versions, the figures themselves being only average quality and Mezco generally dragging their heels and cutting corner. Oh no... It really is pathetic...
Just have to hope Storm Collectables does a better job with their 6" line of classic MK figures. The figures look incredible, so that's a good start. Just need them to keep going with it and cover as many characters as possible.

I wouldn't even go about the quality..it's pretty good but I would definitely say the main problem is the way they marketed the product. 1st they waited way to late to start the line it should have been started around the game release.they would of sold way better. 2nd the lack of characters. Instead of producing variants with different weapons they could have been other characters and they should have started off with the more classic characters for the 1st 4 waves at least. 3rd MORE ARTICULATION..my only problem with the quality. I'm glad we got a kitana..but I would rather have had for the 1st wave scorpion sub-zero and kitana and the 2nd wave Quan chi Mileena and shinnok or Ermac

I can't say I was following the release date for these but I thought it was fairly close to the games' date. I remember the figures popping up around the same time it came out. Anyway, I ended up buying Quan Chi on amazon last night since it was about 4 bucks less than retail and I also bought the JazWare Kano too. It looks alright beggars can't be choosers. I'm definitely gonna get Raiden and Kitana now. I'll post some picks when they show up.
How many MK figures do you guys have?
I've got: Lui Kang Kung Lao Jax Johnny Cage Nightwolf Subzero and Scorpion.
Either I was dumb or hadn't started collecting them at the time but I passed on Shao Kahn a while back I totally regret it. He's less than 30 bucks online so I might pick it up next week. The ones that seem like their going to be impossible to find are Barraka, Reptile, Noob Saibot, and that Toy Rocket Exclusive Goro which is insane. I love looking at that figure. Any I missed?
And does Storm Collectibles plan on doing a 6 inch line? It'd be a good idea to start the line with someone who wasn't Subzero or Scorpion.( I know there the most recognizable characters just being biased.) Not that I don't like the characters but because we really do need to get some of the other characters who haven't been made yet. Mileena, Sonya Blade, Ermac, Shang Tsung, Kabal, Jade. or the Cyborgs would all be acceptable.

Where was it announced that the line is already done after the series 2 variants?
If that is the case, just happy we received a Kotal Kahn, Quan Chi, and Kitana for first time figures.

And does Storm Collectibles plan on doing a 6 inch line? The Storm Collectables figures are 6-inch, that's already been confirmed. They also have confirmed they're planning more characters (beyond Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Goro that we've seen) I am so excited to finally get some high quality CLASSIC 6-inch MK figures, but also extremely concerned something will go wrong and the line will end up cancelled or ending too quickly.
