And does Storm Collectibles plan on doing a 6 inch line? The Storm Collectables figures are 6-inch, that's already been confirmed. They also have confirmed they're planning more characters (beyond Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Goro that we've seen) I am so excited to finally get some high quality CLASSIC 6-inch MK figures, but also extremely concerned something will go wrong and the line will end up cancelled or ending too quickly. Really? They look a lot bulkier in the pictures. That's great to hear. I'll definitely be getting Goro then. Yeah it seems to happen more than often. That's why I'm not gonna miss out on any new characters that Mezco's making either. The prices on the old Jazware's have gotten really out of hand. |

Ended up getting Quan Chi and Kano today, love 'em but I did cave the other day and bought that Shao Kahn and it should be here tomorrowso I'll post pics of everyone then. I'll edit this post when he shows up. Now I just have to get Kitana, Raiden and I watched a review of Kotal Kahn and I'm now sold. Can't wait for Storm Collectible's Goro now!!

Ended up finding Kitana at retail today. She really is great. Too bad Mezco isn't gonna make these anymore I think they've done a fantastic job with the line. I'd post pictures but my camera's battery is dead.

i'm a massive MK fan and figure collector but even that said, all the previously released MK figures were either too poor quality or not classic-styled enough for me to buy.
Can't wait for the Storm Collectables ones though, I plan to buy every figure and probably multiples of some too to use for customs. Hope we get some more news on them soon.

Thank you and yeah I get what you mean but I'll take what ever figures I could get of these guys. I don't mind them not being classic style costumes I just want more of the original characters. Like I'd probably pass on people like Ferra/Torr, Erron Black, and others like that (if they made them). I'm debating on getting Kotal Kahn or not but I'm not too concerned about missing out on him. Yeah I can't wait for Goro, I hope that Storm at least makes them compatible size wise with the JazWare and Mezco figures. You know like how NECA just came out with there new AvP figures labled at 7 inches but they came out to be around 9 instead? I'd love a Shang Tsung,Kabal, Syndel, Cyrax, Sektor, Sheeva, Rain, Ermac, Kintaro, Motaro, Sonya, and hell I'd even buy a Stryker. Just hoping that the Storm figures are a decent price cause once figures get passed the 40-50 dollar range I'll pass. Still looking for the Noob and Reptile from the Jazware Deception/Shaolin Monk lines. |

To each their own, but personally I'd rather pay a high price to get high quality awesome MK figures, than end up with yet more poor quality and disappointing MK figures - we've had more than enough of those. Honestly I'd be pleased if they were $50 each, just means better quality, more accessories and a more impressive display. I wish more companies would give 6-inch scale figures the premium treatment. The Figuarts Mighty Morphin Power Rangers figures are a great example of just how good 6-inch figures can be. I have a brand new unopened Scorpion (Skull Head) Towers Exclusive figure for $50 shipped if anyone's interested. Also I'm going to wait till Bandai picks up the Mortal Kombat license. I remember when I went to SDCC they were doing a voting poll and MK was on the list, so was TMNT, Sailor Moon and other. Well anyways they made Sailor Moon figures and are releasing TMNT figures soon, so I'm sure in the future they will release some MK figures. I can only dream how amazing they will be and we will finally get some awesome MK figures.

Great stuff Naptown, thanks for the update, I'd love to see closeups of that Sonya. Is it a custom, she looks killer. Still looking for that 4 pack Smoke, and (Deception?)Reptile. Love that Goro too. The GI Joe style MK figures fit in really well with the Jazwares line, that Kollection is awesome. All you really need is that Shao Kahn playset and you're good to go. Really makes me wish they had done the Cyborgs in 6 inch scale.
