Terry Lattimer is a former Jakks Sculptor fairly well known on here as he has sold quite a few BCA prototypes from his personal collection on Ebay.
Found this bundled with 7 other heads of regularly released figures, including some pre real scan. All listed as one of a kind. (There must be at least the painted proto as well either with Terry or out there somewhere but still it's pretty unique.)
I asked to buy Gangrel individually then checked here and saw that it had been posted in the BCA thread and had been for sale since 2013 and no-one had picked it up! So I got for a great price.
As a big fan of the ministry this was a must have for me and I will be making it into a custom.

don't alter the one of a kind sculpt into a custom. That's a really bad idea, especially with the people who can do reproduction casts around here.

I would highly suggest making casts of it and not using the original head for the custom because this is likely the only real scan gangrel head in the world.

Yeesh, you're customizing a one-of-a-kind prototype like this? I think you may regret that someday...have you considered making molds of it and keeping the original?

Wasn't that off this figure? No. This is a scan of gangrel, not just a sculpt like that one. You can tell this one's a lot more realistic

No. That TTL Gangrel was before real scan. The one the OP posted was never released.

I gotta be honest... It looks almost identical to the TTL Gangrel head... :\

The real scan fits his likeness much more. Cheeks are fatter, looks less like a Spawn figure. Haha

I understand where you guys are coming from and know of the guys who cast on here. I will probably look into casting it myself as now I have it I'm definitely not shipping it back to states for casting. I don't want to risk losing it or having it mass produced. It's not worth a lot financially but in terms of collecting value it's huge. Prophet of Ash I still can't believe you found this before me and didn't buy.

While it wouldn't be to bad re-painted with a few modifications the real scan is much better. Besides what is been mentioned above the nose and hair are obvious differences.

Would it be possible for you to take side by side comparison pics of the Pre Real Scan and the one you just received? I am on the fence about the one you received being "Real Scan." www.angelfire.com/wrestling2/figuremuseum/images/real_scan_gangrel.gifHere is a pic of the "Real Scan" Gangrel from Toy Fair years ago. Notice the difference in the hair sculpt and how crazy the face scan looks compared to the one you had purchased. Wish I could find better pics.
