...never has a bald spot/balding pattern. Does Hogan himself prohibit action figures made in his likeness to actually reflect what he looks like? Dude's always got hair like He Man.

...I'm not really sure what you mean - he doesn't have a bald "spot"? (the top of his head is completely bald...)

There are quite a few Jakks Hogans, both WWE and TNA, that have bald spots.

I know nothing of this Hogan. Does he have a knife mark in his forehead and blood on him on purpose? What is it from?

Wow, that Hogan's awesome. Never seen this two pack before. And color me wrong, I guess it's just the video games where Hulk won't allow that skullet to be shown...

He had some hair at WM2 that his figure is based on against King Kong Bundy

i also heard about that part where Hogan didn't want his figures to look bald, hence the molded bandanas. I guess he eventually accepted reality.

I hate not having removable bandannas. It limits displaying options and doesn't make sense for playing either, since realistically his bandanna always gets knocked off of him 5 minutes into the match.
Thankfully, mattel appears to be 2 for 2. His defining moment figure is accurate for the time which is why he has a bit more hair. And while I'm not positive, I'm pretty certain the modern basic hogan's bandanna comes off. If you look closely you can see a gap between it and the side of his head and in another pic, one of his eyebrows is a bit more covered by it, meaning that is a separate sculpted piece.
I'm definitely eager to see how they'll handle future figures, like late 80s, nWo, hulk still rules, etc. Hopefully they'll have removable bandannas too.

I think the new Hulk Hogan basic from Signature series is probably going to be akin to Los Matadores in that the bandanna is a seperate piece cast in color, but if you pry it off, there is only a partially sculpted head underneath and a large peg the top half is glued to. This is just a guess.

His LJNs had the receding hairline, but not the spot, likely as they weren't too details. His first Hasbro was the same way. But from Hasbro through OSFTM, toybiz, and the first figures from Jakks, he always had Bandanas sculpted on. That streak didn't end until the CS 8 figure.

I believe that's Check Mate. Also the first Yellow and red Hogan Jakks made had thinning hair up top. Compare that first Yellow and red Hogan to the AWA (blue and white) Hogan, you'll see the AWA hogan has only a receding hair line, the red and yellow Hogan has the receding hair line and the hair is thinner. Basically the AWA Hogan has molded on hair and the red and Yellow hogan has the sides molded on but the top is bald but with lightly painted on hair. Later Hogans came with Bandannas, I dont think this was done to hide the fact that the man is bald though. I think it was done to give the customers the Bandannas.
